There comes a point where more height and more speed does not really mean that much. I think Millennium Force has passed that. Its a fun coater, its impressive... but... I dont know... For its size, I was expecting to say "WOW!!!" and all I could manage was a simple "Wow!"
I love this ride, and it deserves the #2 spot in my Top 10 list just for the first drop. The speed on this ride is what makes it what it is. Coming down the first drop into the overbanked curve always makes me black out for a few seconds, and the turn into the tunnel just continues to press forward the intensity. The large hill following the first tunnel, which delivers some nice airtime, is impressive, but the two overbanked turns after it dont do much for me. Still, the ending with the airtime-inducing bunny hop and the overbank over the queue makes up for it. Overall an incredible ride and experience.
This is definetely the best ride i have ever been on. The first hill is amazing and i love the huge overbanke curve once you have finished the first hill. I like the other couple of hills because the give you a lot of airtime sort of like the wooden coasters. This ride is better than the dragster but that is only because it is longer the Top Thrill Dragster.
Best coaster ever. The drop is amazing - especially when being thrown over the top while in the back of the train - the speed is amazing, good air time throughout, SMOOTH, and fun as hell. It feels like youre flying around the park. The only way to make this coaster better would be to make it longer. I couldnt ask for a better coaster.
Its my number one Top 10 coaster so I had to give it a perfect score. I was dumb-founded when I learned of its arrival to the POINT. 10 records broken--I thought to myself that I have to get to the POINT. It was my first trip to Cedar Point period after studying the park for 2 years. I skipped everything else and went straight to the line, which was already long by the time I arrived on opening day. The ride was having some major downtime, due to concerns with the magnetic lift and b/c it was brand new and havent been broken in yet. After a 2-3 hour wait, I boarded this stellar coaster. I was blown away by the length of time it took to get to the top of the 310 ft tall lift hill. I made the mistake of looking to my left, which was nothing but water all the way to the city. I thought to myself, "Its too late to turn around now!" Then we ascended the crest and began our descent. I began my descent too, the descent of my eye lids that is. The drop felt like we tucked back under the lift slightly. I was like dag, man. All I know is that we were going very fast through overbanked turns, over large hills, through tunnels, in the turnaround and I remember that the speed seemed so great that my face was pinned back. I had never experienced anything like this. I recommend that all true thrill seekers or those who think they are, if you havent done it already, you need to get to the POINT! It is worth the trip if this is all you rode and I dont mean that as an overstatement. Cant wait to ride Top Thrill Dragster this summer.
Love it! The engineering that went into this smoothie was perfect. Felt like flying. Insane speed, open cars what a beautiful ride!
By far the best coaster Ive ever been on. If I could live on this ride, I would. The drop is amazing, the speed is unbelieveable, the airtime is spread out, but still awesome, and its smooth as hell. What more do you want from a coaster?
Best ride I have ever been on, the first drop cant be beaten, and it keeps going for 3 minutes. must ride in front
Hieght, Speed, Airtime, this thing has it all. The first drop is incredible, and the ride is just awesome. The cable lift gives it an even better touch with its stelthiness and silent climb. A definate 10!
Amazing ride. Just the suspense going up the hill and the feeling of being right next to the lake makes it very intense. You look over to the side and there are no stairs or anything, all you see is ground. Then, when you go over the hill it feels as if you could be thrown right into the lake. The hills on this ride also provide some great airtime, which makes it even better.
