W O W. Thats about all I could say after my first ride on MF. The line is soo anticipating with the track going right over the queue line! I about peed my pants waiting in the station about to go up the extremely fast and steep lift hill. On the way up all i could do was gape at the amazing view of the park lit up at night. Well then I wasnt so much as amazed as we climbed higher and higher. Then i got a little freaked out and started yelling at my friends asking them why they made me ride it!! Then the speed picked up and we were at the top in no time. We speed over the hill and i had no choice but to throw my hands up!! Wow as soon as i can get scared we r almost at the bottom of the hill. The speed is amazing!! then comes the overbanked turn. Woah. I thought i was fallin out of my seat. The rest of the ride was just as great as the hill. The airtime was excellent. I never remembered ever being in my seat the whole ride!! The last turn was so cool going over the lines right above ppls heads! Finally we hit the brakes and came to a stop. I got off and all i could say to my friends was woahwoahwoah...Im so glad i got to experience this ride and i hope to ride it lots more in the future!!! Definitely a 10!!! even more!!!

SO INTIMIDATING!! MF is one of a kind. There is nothing like it on Earth. It is so good, theres nothing I can say that is bad about it. There are some things that could have been improved on but absolutely NOTHING bad. I can tell you, its very rare you see a person come off of it not smiling, laughing or talking about their experience (and the people that werent doing any of the above, me and my friends just thought there had to be something wrong with them). But enough about that...the ride is what really matters. The station, for one, is very futuristic and has some unique touches. For example, the red light above the train. It lights up and goes from one side to the other and really gets you pumped just looking at it. They really are cool. The lift hill...what can I say...mind-blowing. It actually scared me. We were heading upward so fast and you feel SO vulnerable. You can either look to the left and see the water of Sandusky Bay, which just makes you feel even more vulnerable or you can look to the right and see all of CP getting smaller and smaller. Either way, it was as if I was being carried up to my doom. All I could do is sit back , wait for the crest and express how nervous I was to my friends. Then when you are about to go over the 310 ft. hill, you dont just glide over it...you get PULLED over it and down the hill. It really feels like you are plunging towards oblivion. Its the greatest sensation of what I call the "heart feeling" that Ive ever experienced. Ever. Not even TTD could match (the reason why, I dont know). A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The 1st banked turn was pretty good...nothing too special unless you were on the inside of the turn. If so, it really does feel like you will fall out. The tunnel following was a great touch and the rush into darkness and back out really makes you recognize how fast you are going. The 2nd hill had some nice floater air, very similar to the 2nd hill on another one of my favorite, S:ROS (SFDL) and the two banked turns on the island ended up being a whole lot more exciting than the 1st one. The 3rd hill propels you out of your seat into sudden ejector air which is SO satifying. One of the best examples of it that exists on Earth is on this hill. The ending afterward sustains the excitement all the way to the brakes. CPs crown jewel is MF (Sorry, Top Thrill Dragster is not it...) and they really have something great. It deserves all the praise it has gotten and I will now try to convince others that dont give this ride at the Minimum...Bottom Barrel...an 8, as others on this site do, that there is something wrong with that. It really is one of the greatest thrills on the planet. Still, I think the Incredible Hulk Coaster is a little bit more worthy of the #1 spot, but thats just me. MF is a close 2nd though. Its still an excellent coaster, though, that deserves every bit of recognition it has gotten and almost everyone that has experienced it can agree with me. I adore Millennium Force.

I first rode Millennium Force a few years ago when I visited the park for the first time with my family. At that time, Millennium Force fervor was in full swing, and many proclaimed it to be the greatest roller coaster on the planet (some still do, and I can understand some people&#39.s reasoning for that...others not so much, but I digress). Suffice it to say that my first and only ride on MF in the middle of the train that day left me wanting. Yes, the lift and first drop were crazy. Yes, it went very fast. Yes, there was not much airtime, but that&#39.s ok, because it&#39.s fast...right? Was I missing something? Perplexed, I chalked up my experience as genuine, and simply allowed MF to sit well outside my Top 10 for the several years since my visit.

Determined to challenge MF once again, I visited CP for a second time this June. This time, I was at the park independently, and I a mind to kick off my day with a front row trip on the coaster that had left my so underwhelmed on my first trip. I had heard great things about the front row on this coaster, and I also wanted to ride it as a challenge to myself and my acrophobia. After waiting less than an hour, I was on my way up the lift hill with another single-rider seated next to me in the front row. The view as we ascended was even better than I remembered, and the coaster as a whole was very impressive. There was surprisingly good air on all 3 of the main hills/drops, particularly the crest of the 2nd hill going out to the island, and the speed was relentless throughout the entire course. Impressed, I contiued my day at the park, arriving back near MF several hours later for a second ride. However, the ride broke down during my time in line, and I decided to bail after waiting for at least 15 minutes for it to get underway again.

I did not find myself back at MF again until near the end of the day, but I got in line once again, this time with the idea in mind that I would try riding in the back row to see how the airtime was. Not only was I surprised to find that the airtime was less impressive in the back (perhaps the only coaster I have been on where this was the case), but I was also far more apprehensive about my 2nd ride in the back than I was about my 1st ride in the front! (I think this was partly due to the breakdown earlier in the day, for whatever bizarre reason.) Regardless, I decided that this was a less-than-optimal way to end my trip (CP marked the 4th and final park on my June &quot.coaster road trip&quot.). Almost without consciously thinking about it, I decided that I had to ride once more, again in the front row, and that, if at all possible, I needed to ride solo in the row. I have no idea where all of these ideas came from (well, actually, I do, but that&#39.s another story for another day), but I am eternally glad that they flooded by body at the time that they did, for my final ride on Millennium Force, at dusk and completely by myself in the front row, was one of the best individual ride experiences that I have ever had on a coaster. As I crested the lift hill, I had a splendid view of the sun as it edged beneath the clowds and show out in all its glory over Lake Erie. As I raced through the course, the speed seemed to double in the gathering darkness. As I crested each hill, the airtime was more impressive than it had been all day. And as they took my final on-ride photo of the trip, I roared in triumph, as my ride, my journey, and all the things that matter to me flashed through my being in explosive fashion.

Instantly, I knew that Millennium Force was no longer going to sit well outside my Top 10. And given my 1 ride at the end of that day, I cannot see it leaving anytime soon.<scr

This was a totally awesome ride! The first time I waited 2 hrs and the second got a free ride pass from Iron Dragon breaking down. The drop made me feel like I was on Top Thrill Dragster again, and the upside down turns were awesome. Lots of airtime on the rest of the ride and the tunnels were very exciting. I thought it was a little short for a chain lift roller coaster, but still completely amazing.

Millenium Force really is an awesome ride! You reach the top of the drop in what seems like no time. The drop is amazing! The 2 hills after the 1st drop are great to. My only complaint would be that they push your bar down so far that you cant feel the airtime as much.

What is there to say about this coaster, now four years old? Its one of the greatest rides in the history of amusement parks and the first drop is breathtaking. A modern roller coaster that doesnt need the loops and inversions that are the commonplace today, Millenium Force is a ride worth to come halfway around the world for and to wait 20 hours in line (Although I came 400 miles away and waited 80 minutes in line).

This is most likely the best roller coaster in the world. Period. Just enough airtime. Every seat is great, but especially the front or back. and unrelenting speed!
