Just take the stupid OSTRs off and replace the trains with new trains that have lap bars only

This is always my first ride every time I go to MM. The breaks are annoying, but are reminiscence of SooperDooperLooper at Hershey Park, if you've even ridden it. I love Revolution even with it's OSRs and weird breaks. The new paint job on the trains looks great too. The park should give the trains a little mechanical work so they could lighten up on the breaks. OTS suck, but with how slow it travels that loop now, I'm very glad to have them!

This ride would probably get a solid 4 if SFMM would show it a little TLC. It is over 35 years old and by this point can be a bit rough (they aren't lying when they say to keep your head back against the headrest) and at times it feels more like 'Break Sections: The Ride' rather than 'Revolution.' However, it's still a must ride at least once. Besides the historical significance of being the first vertical loop, some of the dives and drops and turns through the trees are a lot of fun. I REALLY want this ride to get that TLC, bring it back to it's old glory.

I first rode Revolution when it was only 2 years old, back when it did not have the over the shoulder harness, and I have riden it so many times since then that I lost count. I loved it then and I love it now.

In my oppinion this is one of the best coasters at the park. for being the first coaster with a vertical loop I was surprised that the ride had more than just a loop. the only thing keeping it from getting a perfect score from me is the OTSR.

This is yet another coaster that SFMM has neglected to the point of ruin. This ride is rough, and can be considered just a series of brake runs. The setting, the layout, the pacing, and the history of this ride are all awesome. Shame on Six Flags for letting this once great ride fall apart.

Great ride!!! Its long and the lines are usually very short and move fast. I dont get why people complain about headbanging. I had no problen when i went on it. This ride is fast and very enjoyablr. Go on it for sure.

Wow, I have so many fond memories of this ride. I remember riding it for the first time when I was 7. I loved it. I laughed through the whole ride. I still enjoy this ride despite the excessive braking and terrible restraints. I rode this with my best friend and girlfriend last year. I rode up front while the other 2 rode in the 2nd row. I loved it and they hated it. I offered to switch seats with them. Well, I hated my second ride and they loved it. Weird. Moral of the story: avoid the second seat. Sadly, this ride is going downhill. The ending helix was brutal. Many other parts hurt as well. This is still a very fun coaster. Im sure if they removed the restraints it would be an amazing ride. Whizzing through the woods is fun. Another plus is that there was never a wait for this ride. This is a great coaster for kids who arent ready for the mega loopers. Tame and fun. Enjoy!

Revolution is not your standard compact Schwarzkopf looping coaster. This is sprawled out across quite a bit of Magic Mountains territory, and being set deep amongst the trees adds more to the far removed feel while riding. There are four drops during the ride, none of them huge, but all pretty fun. There is a tunnel and a spiral, and of course the worlds first 360-degree vertical loop on a steel coaster. Its funny today that there is such a long straight-away before the loop, but I guess, what with this being the precedent-setter, they had to make sure the train made it through the loop. And this is a perfect circular vertical loop, as opposed to the more teardrop-shaped verticals we see today. Revolution has been tampered with a bit of late, adding over-the-shoulder restraints, along with the lap bars, and there are a lot of trim brakes throughout, but this remains a Magic Mountain classic that should not be missed.

Classic. This ride is good, because of no wait and the sheer thrill you get going down the drops. First inverting ride in the world. This would get a eight, but the brakes during the middle of the ride bring it down.
