This ride is unlike any other ride I've been on. It certainly isn't for the faint of heart- it does throw you around a lot, especially on the outer seats, but you have fun while it's doing that. The front seat is a must. This is only slightly edged out by Twisted Colossus for the title of best ride in the park.

Great Ride, a bit on the short side in terms of length, however it packs a heck of a punch in the short time it has. The best ride in the park to date, simply can not be overlooked by any coaster enthusiast or adrenaline junkie. Not recommended for those who aren't fans of coasters due to its intensity and aggression

Ahh, X2. It's a really hyped up ride in the SoCal area where I live in, but does it live up to it? X2 is literally like nothing else on the planet, it gives new sensations that you just don't feel on a regular coaster. The first drop is amazing and kinda comes out of nowhere. The loop pulls massive Gs similar to tatsu and is followed by another huge drop and a hill. Now after the turnaround is when this ride loses control. This is in my opinion, the most intense part of the ride and its really hard to describe what goes on. As you pull up to the brake run, it's difficult to decipher what just happened. Overall I would say that this ride does live up to the hype, and if your in the area this is a must ride. You get a beautiful view of the park on the way up, an amazing drop and a very disorienting second half.

First and foremost, I was very surprised to see this coaster ranked as #11 overall.... I've only ridden X2, although to my knowledge all they added was the effects and redesigned trains. While I was there they ran one train and even in January this created a six train wait. This is where I'd normally explain the rides various elements and forceful moments, however on X2 so much is happening that you don't know what is going on for the duration of the ride. From the ground it really doesn't look like much, but trust this ride is not for the weak. It's the first time since I was a kid that I was legit scared on a coaster. However this ride feels very much like a novelty to me and is a bit like a one trick pony, not something I would head for first and would skip if the line is long. Make it's your last ride of the day too, chances are you'll get a headache from this one. Morel of the story is awesome ride, but for some reason it didn't leave me wanting more of it, the way Tatsu, Scream, or Apocalypse beg to be reridden

Great Coaster with very unique characteristics. Line way too long and the park was only running one train that day but worth the wait.

Riding the X before the gimmicky stuff with the nesscesary train adjustements and operations was one of the defying coaster riding moments ever for me. The anticipation this ride gave me was more than Millenium force on my first ride. The original name for me was way more mysterious and cool X just X what could it mean? cool mysterious while the new X2 Xtreme to the second power just doesn't sound good just my opinion, also the firbergpass Xs over the gains mechanics gave the ride a awesome complete look. Now it's just bare metal and sure that may be unnerving to see moving parts exposed but I just don't like it uncovers. The restrainsts wer always comfy and easy to adjust , the addition of flame throated which we all know makes everything better... the music helps on the lift hill and staion that's a good addition but the onside stuff after Going Down is just garbled and useless until the final brake run music. This music isn't bad it's in my taste as well rock and sergeant Hartman without the explicits is still entertaining. The paint job menacing black and red yeah cool but not attention grabbing like fushia and yellow structure, which is yes gaudy and attention grabbing but that's the whole point of a first ever headlining attraction. While this backfired by being a symbol of failure worse than deja vu, Constant breEakdowns and delays money lost and a company bankrupt again only to never emerge. But the ride delivered just like deja vu a great Xperience unlike anything else at the time. The four hour lines one train operation and lack of shade in the switchbacka was perfect for heat exhausted people to drop yes true. the ride is short true but it's so intense you have to ask if the average person can handle I'm serious my first ride all I could do was try to laugh hysterically but not being able to take a full breath it twas so intense. could handle a minute more of raven turns and flips. Prototype rides pike this especially arrows rides (which X is there last) example the original corkscrew out up down up turn dive cork cork turn brakes over. The final point being that a ride like X is rare a truly unique Xperinece that you can't get anywhere else (but Japan 20 hour flight to get there if ejaneika is open) in the world

It's a cool ride since it's been upgraded with fire, music, and less breaking. Yeah it still breaks, but not as much. Also its way to short. Once your past the lift, give it a minute max, and that line extended over 5 hours one day! Though, how its operated is amazing! The car type is a multi-dimensional coaster. The seats flip at perfect moments to make the ride an adventure. This is all computer based, giving the reason why it breaks down so often. Definitely try it out first thing when you get in the park so you don't have to wait a ridiculous time to ride something so short.

X2 was great! The first flip into the vertical drop was a huge adrenaline rush. However, i am taking a point off because the second half of the ride got fairly rough. Still, the ride is great and worth the wait. Loved it!

Although the lines are a little longer than other coasters -ITS THAT GOOD- in the world, getting on this perfected state of extreme euphoric bliss is worth it.

Been to Cedar Points Top Thrill (10.0) and Millenium (9.9), but "X" (10.0) is unique because of the 4-d coaster experience - only 1 in the world at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
