too much headbanging for a coaster that doesnt move very fast. However, this steel coaster makes very effective use of the terrain, probably the best steel terrain coaster Ive been on but the ride isnt that good.

Revolution wasnt ruined by the restrains, it was ruined by the brakes.

I am a coaster veteran, and Ive been on over 500 coasters, and I can tell you that Revolution was ruined by the brakes on top of every hill up to and including the huge drop to the loop. Now, it wouldnt hurt to remove the OTSR, but I think that SFMM has them in there for the younger people that wouldnt be hold in by just a lap bar, and for the more obese people that need more than a lap bar. (IMHO) Good ride, overall.

good ride...stupid restraints for its type...full otsrs on a schwarzkopf is dumb and takes away from the schwarzkopf feel

Definatly a ride you should check out. A must ride for any coaster nut. The fact that it was in Family Vacation, Rollercoaster (Yes, Ive seen that movie... twice), and is the first sucessful looping steel coaster. I called my trip to Cali my "Pilgramige to the coaster holy land", and this is one reason why!

This is a classic ride. They have a sign near the entrance, I believe written by ACE, that is cool to read. Its a good ride, but there is one major flaw; they need to go back to the lap bars! I didnt ride it when it was just lap bars, but I think it would make the ride much more comfortable than it is. The ride itself is speedy and has lots of banked drops, plus the loop is quite tight. Not a bad ride.

This was my first looping roller coaster that I have ever ridden. zooming threw the trees not knowing where the track it taking you. This just adds to the excitment of this old mild ride. Low in Populartiy it is one that is great for first time roller coaster riders

Revolution is probably Schwartskopfs very best creation.Youve got some good drops and inclines, an awsome vertical loop, and a great helix fanally. The ride would be a lot better though if they removed the shoulder restraints and left the lap bar, and maybe tone down the the brakes before the loop.
