This was a nice simple ride. Its not as thrilling as other newer coasters, of corse, but still a bit faster then it initially seems. However, I think having lap bars AND over the shoulder restraints is a bit of an overkill. They should just stick to one or the other.
Twas The Night Before My Freinds B-day.The First Thing I see is Scream! We walk inside the park and something comes to my attention and no it was not Dark! The sweet surgary color of white steel bars made me want to....PUKE!!!!Give Me A Break It Was My First Big Roller Coaster I went on!My friend wanted to see my face on the ride so on the loop I slowly turned and let out a smile! After the ride my friend asked me"So, What did you think?"And I Shouted, "SWEET!" After that I went on every roller coaster in SFMM Because at first I was Scared But Revolution Brought Me In To A Whole new world despite the fact we almost died on the way to SFMM!Anyways its a pretty good ride so I give it a 9!
Not a bad ride at all- kinda suprising. I thought since it was older it wouldnt be any fun, but it was cool. The speed issue is there, but it was still a good ride. The lift hill was suprising too- it was pretty fast, much faster than most lifts. The loop gave some pretty intense forces, but overall, its just a mediocre ride.AAaagh! That is the sound of Revolution, crying to Anton Schwarzkopf. This ride was probably a gem back in the coaster revolution, but nowadays, corporate-advised trim brakes and uneccessary shoulder restraints add up to a tortured Schwarzkopf that is truly sad to see.
I liked this ride it just didnt go fast enough. I liked how you went traveling through all the trees and stuff. This is one of those rides that you should go on at night. THis is because at night its dark so when your traveling through the forest thing its realy creepy. Especially when you go in the tunnel thing. Make sure you scream while in the tunnel cause it ecoes...
This ride is too old. The lap bar, and the shoulder restraint takes up too much space in the car. But what do you expect, it was made in the 70s and was the first looping coaster, youd automaticly expect it to be rough, and it kind of is.
An awsome ride! A great mild ride that you can take everyone on! The drops arent half bad, and the loooooong drop before the loop offers some great suspense. I rode it 5 times, and although it can be somewhat rough at times, its still a great ride!
This ride is a piece of history. It is so low-tech that you practically fall out of your seat when you go around the loop (awesome!). Who can beat a low-tech, fear-for-your-life kind of ride.
Although Revolution is not one of the better rides at SFMM, it still provides some amount of thrill. With a nice vertical loop, a few good drop elements, and scenic landscape, many can find it enjoyable. However, my complaints are that the ride was very uncomfortable--as my head was banged on every turn--and the shoulder harnesses were very constricting. Too rough, in my opinion, but fairly good considering it is the first looping coaster built. Revolution is worth a try if youre looking for something milder than other types of looping rides.
Much better than I expected. Pretty fast for an older ride. The overhead restraints are worthless, but all rides of this type have them. The scenery is great and the layout is nice. It is so much fun. You can feel the history when you ride it.
I am only comparing this ride with other classic older steel coasters. This doesnt include X, DeJaVu, or Glioth.
This was a pretty cool ride. It was pretty intese and fast pased. More than I expected from the first coaster with a loop.
