I love it. Mainly because its a Disney original and classic. Yes, it isnt exactly entertaining...but it is enjoyable. Anyone who gives this a low rating just doesnt appreciate classic rides. The fact that it hasnt been updated that much over the years makes it better. Thats what makes the rides at Magic Kingdom so great, the classic presence.
What a waste of a giant ball. I could think of so many cool things that they could have used it for, which means the stuff Disney could make up for its use would be incredible. Its a bearable journey...once. After that, you will want to kill yourself for going on it again.
Very relaxing and nicely themed. Gives you a break from rides like Mission Space (LOL!!!!). Just kidding. But Spaceship Earth is a nice ride and must be ridden every visit to EPCOT.
Boring, simply boring. What a waste of space.
A Classic Disney ride and I do mean CLASSIC. The ride vehicles are extremely noisy. I could barely understand what the narrator was saying from the creak and moan of the cars. This is an interesting ride through communication. The ride is very good when you start going down backwards. This ride does need to be updated, but still a must ride.
I cannot believe they fit all of that "stuff" inside the giant white ball. I had always wondered what was in here and this is it. I was disappointed by the ride, there are plenty of older rides at Disney World but most seem ok and can avoid looking old. Well, Spacehip Earth really DID feel incredibly dated to me. Its BAD when the ride ops greet you with a "wake up" as if they are used to it. I could easily see people falling asleep, in fact, at least one member of our party did. I dont quite get where communication fits into the idea of a giant white ball, nor where the communication bit ends and the black tunnel part begins, but it wasnt TERRIBLE but it was pretty bad.
It is kinda dull until you start going down.
A classic Disney ride. I prey that they do not replace it cause its fine the way it is.
This attraction was very interesting. It sure entertained me
The signature attraction at EPCOT takes you back through the history of communication and also gives some possibilities for the future. Its slow-moving and air conditioned so you are comfortable throughout the whole ride. It really opens up your mind to the future and is a very educational as well as interesting to listen to. It is a great start for any day at EPCOT.
