Would rent a q-bot if it also had the ability to show you a map of the park aswell?
I just wondered if anyone would find it more helpful and more appealing if the current q bot out there also displayed a map of the park and gave you directions and timing to that ride so you didnt miss your slot and were able to find your way round easily. It could also display other amenities and attractions, notify you if a ride is out of service and when it is back running agin for you to reserve!

What do you think of the idea??

One thing about POC at DL is that no matter what, you can't beat the original. My son and I have to ride it as many times as possible on every visit to DL. Right now it has Captain Jack Sparrow and although I think it is kinda funny, I will like it when he goes away. It maybe because it is the only character in the ride that looks like a real person that I know who they really are.

This ride is way better than WDW. The ride is longer and has better drops. I like the start of the ride when you go through the swamps. A must do at DL.

Honest to god I didnt think it was "OMG!!" better than the one in Florida. Its a bit longer with some extra stuff and a bigger drop, but overall its another great Disney dark ride. I really dig both versions and think that the sets and effects are really cool. I like the nice blend of types of effects and even the new movie stuff. A solid ride.

Excellent drop ride thats superior to its Florida counterpart. The theming and storyline was outstanding and all of the animatronics were great and all of the scenes were very well done. Also, the ride is exceptionally long.

WARNING: This review contains a needless large amount of cheesy pirate-speak. Avast, ye buckos! Board the longest voyage in the land of that bilge-rat Mickey, at a whopping 18 minutes. At first, ye take a leisurely pace through quiet bayous, and past the landlubbers eating at some hoity-patoity restaurant. But then its time to splice the main brace as the pirates kick into action. Hold on, sea dogs, as ye go through a pair of drops. See the dastardly Davy Jones and join the underated cur, Captain Barbosa as he bombards a hapless fort. And of course, the scurvy Jack Sparrow puts in an appearance or three. Every scalawag will be impressed by the detail of theming - Arrr, I loved the skeleton parrot. The scene where the devilish crew has set a city ablaze is downright awesome. Ye know what would have been blimey good? If theyd been able to make Barbosa shift from his human form to his cursed skeleton one, like in the first PotC movie. Aye, Id have paid many doubloons to see that. All who dont like this ride are hereby sentenced to a plank-walkin. Drink up me hearties, yo ho!

I have not been on this ride since it was made-over, but the old version was awesome!

I loved this version so much. As much as I love WDW, its version simply cannot compare to this one.

Cool pirates ride. It is like Disneyworld but is still very fun. The Capt. Jack Sparrow character is the best. The outside is a little weird, because the themeing doesnt fit. Overall this is a fun ride. A must do.

Dead men tell no tales! Pirates delivers an experience like no other. Dropping in the dark, Davy Jones projected on the mist, the campy pirates song. This must easily be the finest dark ride ever made, all 15 minutes of it. If youve got some spare money, try eating at the Blue Bayou (call a few days ahead for reservations) right before your ride. Riding Pirates is a great way to unwind after a nice meal. Like others have said before, no review could ever do this ride justice. No trip to Disneyland is complete without a ride on this.
