Pirates on both coasts are great
Yet again, another perfect Disney ride. I love that Southern musk in the queue, and travelling through the swammps, listening to the crickets, and watching the fire flies really is my favorite part, and also sets the tone for the entire ride. The drops are pretty fun, and are a great way to begin the journey.
This ride is GREAT! Great themeing great ride. A perfect 10.
This ride is amazing theres nothing so realistic in the whole world! Mostly the first scene is cool when there is this huge ship with pirates on it firing at a fort to the right of you,and they miss and come close to hitting youre vehicle and the water flys up like the cannon ball landed in it. But most of all the feeling of thinking you are outside at a foggy night is incredibly accomplished! Way better then Worlds!!
This is an OK ride. The drops at the beginning and the fact that it is a Disney classic make the ride. If it was not for that...I would be Small World gone pirate! Sometimes it is not that fun to stare at robots for 15 minutes.
A neat ride. The line can get backed up but doesnt seem to ever be too terribly long. Although it is a slow ride its relaxing and fun to look at. I always enjoy this one!
THis is a great ride the first time you ride it. Not good for the investagative personalities. You will get bored by the lame effects. If you dont go looking for those effects it is a much better ride. Ride once.
Kind of boring, but the ride looks amazing, and the song is always great. The two drops are nice. I cant believe they closed it down to change the chasing things though, ridiculous. It really feels like you are outside for parts of it in my opinion.
Fun Ride. Ride it at least 4 times everytime I go to Disney. It may not be a thrill, but its just good old fun. Nothing quite like it.
I love the ride at WDW. After riding this one, I look back at WDW at wonder, "what gives?" This ride is superior in every way to the one in Florida. The sheer size of the rooms housingthe displays in this ride is amazing. After you disembark, go outside and try to find the building. Some more Disney magic. From the dark creepy bog beginning, to the ride past the Blue Bayou restaurant it sets a perfect mood. The ride glides deeper and deeper into underground caverns before we even get a glimpse of the pirates (or remains thereof). The pirate ship battling the forts across the bay is a particularly awe inspiring scene. Walt gets a gold star for this one.
