If it wasnt for the ocean view, I would have given this ride a 6. It is quite mild in terms of other rides of this type, but a good ride if you want to relax a bit.
This is one of my favorite rides. It goes pretty fast, though not as fast as the one at Hersheypark and has a great view.
I remember this ride being super-hyped, with advertisements everywhere when it was first built (around 1990 possibly?). Great view, but it makes me want to throw up.
I agree with SLFAKE, the Flying Falcons at Hershey are run much quicker and much longer. I was initially upset at how slow it spun at the top but then decided to enjoy the great relaxing view
A fun ride, I have some great shots of the sun setting from this ride.
This was my first ride of this type and I found it to be the perfect combination of thrills and a view. A perfect ride to relax alittle on
I just love this ride!!!! Its the first time I ever saw a Huss Condor anywhere so the visual appeal for me was quite strong. The ride itself is like a combination of an Eli Scrambler and a viewing tower. For me its just more fun to watch it from a distance. My only complaint is the fact that Moreys never painted the scenery around the bottom of the ride, the op booth is also void of any paintings. Ive heard from "Anthonys (the hermit) Wildwood boardwalk" site that this ride received a new paint job over the winter so perhaps that new paint on the gondolas also extends to the scenery on the bottom which was never painted to begin with.
I liked this ride, just not quite as much as Hersheyparks version (Flying Falcon). Not sure if just wasnt working correclty when I was there, if it is age, or if it is by choice, but it seemed to move kind of slow.
I like these kinds of rides alot! Its not as fast as the Flying Falcon at Hersheypark but it makes up for that with the view. Wow, you get a great view of the island, the beach, and the Atlantic! Its great! At the top they slow down the ride to take in the grand view. I beleve this ride is slower than other Condor installations because Moreys Piers passes this off as a family ride, rather than a thrill ride.
