Fun ride, yet a bit too short IMO and it could use a bit more speed. Perfect ride for when youre leaving the park, since its near the exit.
loved it - really whips you around!!!
good ride, but i prefer the former Superman: The Ultimate Escape at Geauga Lake. I liked the straight backward tower and the fact that they held you there for a second.
I was really nervous before this coaster since it was my first impulse and fully vertical coaster generally. It turned out to be alot of fun and the twists were pretty disorienting! It did get a little old after the first few times but still was fun!
Cool idea, but can get boring pretty quickly. The idea of going up two vertical towers while your legs are dangling is pretty scary. The first launch is a lot of fun, and so are the first two ascents and descents. However, after that I was asking to myself, "Havent I done this already?" It was a good ride and should not be missed if you visit Cedar Point, but does not deserve to be mentioned with some other Cedar Point coasters. This was my first inverted impulse coaster, but Im sure riding on another one would be boring as they are all the same idea. A very cool-looking ride though with a great view.
I am really surprised at how small the line is when I go on this. It is a really fun ride and one of the best in the park. It is at a great location right on the beach. I strongly suggest that you ride it before Dragster, Millennium Force and Raptor.
Love the launch, the setting (being at Cedar Point on the beach), and the spiral up the towers. Narrowly misses my top ten.
A very cool ride. I wasnt sure if this ride was going to be better than Steel Venom at Geauga Lake (formerly Superman: Ultimate Escape at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure) but that back tower put it just slightly higher in my rankings. It is hard to describe exactly what it feels like to be sitting in the back seat and hitting that back spiraling tower at a full 72 m.p.h. It is very nerve racking to spin with such speed and aggression and not be able to see what is coming. The front seat also provides a good ride as the visuals are unmatched at the highest point on the front tower. It is clear that Wicked Twister is a very solid addition to the Points ever growing collection of world class coasters.
This ride has some amazing airtime and speed! The back twist is the best part as you cannot prepare yourself for the twisting.
I had ridden V2 at SFGam before going on Wicket Twister. The backwards twist was good. Im not sure if I actually perfer one over the other. Great ride though.
