Wicked Twister ended up being my 70th coaster, and it turned out to be quite a nice ride for me. Whats more, Wicked Twister turned what was beginning to be a horrendously depressing day into a fantastic one I will never forget. First off, the station music was pretty awesome, especially while the ride was in motion. Secondly, the ride is beautiful...right along the beach with seafoam supports and yellow track. As for the ride itself, I am willing to bet its the best of its kind by far. Ive only ridden one other Impulse coaster, and though I gave Steel Venom an 8 as well, Wicked Twister blew it away. The backwards vertical spike was amazing, especially during the strongest launch backwards. Great hang-time, awesome views...just a really solid Impulse overall

To start off the ride looks really cool, Its tall, has nice colors, and it sits in a gorgeous location. Its seats are pretty comfortable and the ride its self is fairly smooth, with minimal headbanging. It is rather unoriginal, just another impulse with a twist on both spikes instead of one, and has a simple layout. The launch was pretty forcefull and going up the back spike where you are looking down is very cool and offers some nice hang time, but i couldnt help but getting off this ride just a tad disapointed. Its a fun ride but nothing special. This is something that you should hit more than once, but you probably wont be spending too much time around it. Overall 37/50, 7/10

This was my first impulse coaster. I expected a bit more from the ride, but it was good enough to be higher than an 8. The launches were smooth and intense, and being at the top of each tower gives good air. I thought the train was going dangerously close to the top during the second-to-last climb. Scaary. I think its still a debate if the ride is better with two twists or not. I still wanna know what its like to try a single twister.
Like many others in the park, this ride cannot be missed, as its the third tallest coaster in the park. Very fun and intense coaster.

Great Coaster. Nice beach location, and its very disorienting. Great speed, launch, and smoothness.

Wow, what an excellent location! The beach bum coaster! Awesome! Love the location, of course, having the most open, comprehensive view of Lake Erie in the park. The double - twisting spikes are nice, and a welcome change in an impulse coaster. Experienced toward the back of train, for maximized effect on the backwards spiral. I must say, however, that I am a genuine fan of holding brakes, so...

The best impulse coaster in the world due to it height, speed, and twisting in the reverse direction also. This ride is simply what you see, what you get. It is a launch ride that goes back and forth through a U shaped track. I will use this review to give a suggestion to future riders. Seat selection is everything for this ride. The very front or very back are the only real choices. Up front you can see the end of the track coming and have to hope the train is going to stop soon. In the very back you get the highest view of the ground getting further and further away. In the middle, you get very little twisting, and very limited views. My personal favorite is sitting in back because the line generally is much shorter than the front.

Great design and location next to the beach. Its a good way to calm people down before riding it for the first time I love coasters but its the fierce launch that always seems to scare me on this ride. Hold on and look straight ahead. Going up the first spiral is quite quick and you get a unique scensation when the train falls backwards and travels back to the other side of the track. Quite a powerful ride. If you stress out easily or get a queezy stomach I do not suggest it but it is a cool ride overall.

When the wait is too long for Dragster and Millennium Force, this is the one to hit. The best place to sit is definitely the front, as they get the most twists. It can be a bit scary when its been raining and the cars go too far up the towers (which is dangerous - duh). The launches dont get old though, and thats what makes re-rides totally worth it.

Wicked Twisters very intense. I loved all of the launches going up the double twisted spikes forward & backwards b/c they were intense. It also had some good airtime going up those spirals too. WT can be a lil disorienting, but thats why it was built like that & I love the design of it. Ride WT at CP just to see that TTDs not the only coaster in the park w/an intense launch.

APPEARANCE-8 Looks good being on the beach and surrounded by rides in that remade section. Suffers from the fact that these rides are becoming pretty common. CAPACITY-8 For this type of ride this is about as fast as you can load it. RIDE QUALITY-6 I have never noticed any head banging on this type of ride until this one nothing major, I also prefer only one twist and the spike. FUN-7 Not as fun as other versions but still ok RERIDE-4 Probably not again unless it is a very slow day at the point. OVERALL-33 AVG-6.6 I am going with a six since it just does not offer anything that special.
