This impulse coaster is surprisingly intense along with a great view of Lake Erie and Sandusky Beach. One draw back is the low capacity. Other than low capacity, this is a good coaster to start the day at Cedar Point.
All I can say is WOW great ride! I was nervous before getting on Wicked Twister, but I was very surprised by how fun it really is. The thing I enjoy the most about WT is the fact that its in constant movement. Unlike V2 at SFGAm there is no sudden stop on the back spike which makes the ride so much better. And the twisting elements when you go forward and backward make it a completely unique experience. The great location on the beach and the bold colors complete a coaster that is in my opinion one of the best out there and should not be missed.
Great ride. I personally like V2 at SFGAm better because it holds you up the back tower for a bit. The launch on WT is intense. I love spiraling up the tower backwards. And what makes the ride even better is the fact that its right on the beach.
How good can CP get? Watching those towers swaying while in line is unnerving. The launch is really cool and blows sand everywhere! It seems as if youre going to run off the edge of the track when you spiral up. I absolutely loved it.
I didnt expect it to be this good after hearing people complain the year it opened. I can only guess that peoples disappointment with the first year breakdowns negatively influenced the ratings. Great launch and an extreme sense of anticipation when you are next on line and the train rumbles through the load house
Wicked Twister is one wicked machine. The two twisting towers make the ride even more fun. 215 feet at 72 mph top speed is very satisfying. The first time I went on this ride it was later at night and I only waiting about 10 minutes! So me and a friend rode the ride 3 times in about 30 minutes. The beautiful sand beach to your right and the best theme park in the world to your left. What else could you ask for from a view on a ride. Lets take this in order shall we. When you do get on the ride you sit down and an announcement will come on with a quick countdown from 3,2,1 and then you are off. I love the scretching sound of the linear induction motors as you blast out of the station. You do this back and worth about 5 times and its worth everytime. The best time is I think about the 3 thrust where you hit 72 mph and really get flying. I reccommend either sitting in the front seat or the very back. It doesnt really matter because both towers twist so its great either way. Thats what I really love about the Wicked Twister. With usually short waiting lines this ride is easily the best wait in the park. I went back home to MN after staying at Cedar Point and rode there Steel Venom. Let me tell you it doesnt even compare to Wicked Twister. A cheaper but perfect edition to Cedar Points Lineup.

Very cool ride. The back spike and height really makes a difference. Only flaw was it was a little shorter than S:UE and didnt go up the tower fully.
This ride was so abselutley sensational,I had to ride it three times.I remeber Going tho Marine World highly anticipating V2 but It turned out that the rides twisted tower had to be tilted because the local authorities said it was too high. It was quite redeemiming to see that me and my family were going to a park with the same type of coaster only it wasnt deformed and had 2 full-sized twist towers. It gave me the giggles!LOL
WOW... this launch is insane. The twists are also fun (I found it funny that they closed it because it was windy), and it seems to shake a lot. I like the beach to your left as well.
Yeah, the launch is probably the best launch Ive been on since youre inverted... but I dont see anything amazing about this ride... it was only entertaining, not thrilling. I dont really like impulses I guess then.
Riding in the last row on Wicked Twister is truly amazing. The feeling you get when the train trvels backwards for the second time is impossible to explain. Everytime I ride this it scares me to death.
