I have to say I love how the movies are classics. There is no reason to update the scenes. Many are so iconic. Go through and experience these films in a whole new way!
A pretty good ride. Short lines and its inside to get out of Floridas heat.I though the ride was ok and the anamatronics were good. Alot of little kids dont want to ride it though because of the "scary" alien. All in all its a good ride.
i love this ride bc i like the concept behind it..its def an mgm must see if there is no line i think its time they liven this ride up the animatronics are looking old and run down and some of the movies are outdated...i hope next time i go they have refurbished it and come on get rid of alien
I loved this ride it remined me of all the old rides. Its a quick line and I LOVED it.
Good Ride. I thought the ending was awesome! I must see and do!
Very pleasant. You will enjoy this ride even if your guide is not the best, because it's so visually stimulating. Perhaps one of the issues is the disparate amount of space afforded to different movies, so even if you see a movie you are excited about in the preshow, don't expect for it to have a great display in the ride because it may and it may not. Children will probably recognize only Mary Poppins and The Wizard of Oz (and will likely recognize nothing in the final movie), and may not enjoy the ride because of the more intense scenes such as Alien and the takeover of the tram by the gangster. Adults should, however, have a great time on this ride.
Whenever I think of MGM I think of this ride almost immediately. If it were to be gutted out I would be very angry. Dont ever change it Disney.
This was a prett cool ride. I enjoyed the guides and how they would swap throughout the ride. It was pretty long and the scenes were cool.
very unique and relaxing. nice and long, and i love the part with the alien.
The Great Movie Ride was a unique dark ride. Commanding the center of the park, the Great Movie Ride is housed in a giant and very nice looking building. Thanks to its very high capacity, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for this. I dont remember too much about this ride regarding the details of the scenes, but I remember that there were some really cool ones (like the Wizard of Oz, which is one of my all-time favorites) and some rather dull ones. The ride was pretty long too if I remember correctly. It would have been better if Disney redid the ride with their newer movies to make it more entertaining and up to date if you ask me. This certainly is worth a ride if you enjoy classic movies.
