This ride definately has its high points resting in the Wizard of Oz, Aliens, and hijacking parts. It is definately a good representation of what MGM/Disney studios is all about, and makes you feel like part of the movies.

If they were to update it, they should just add-on to it, and try to modify as little as possible to whats already there. The animatronics could be a little updated also. Other than that, a very nostalgia-filled ride that captures the magic of movies well.

A great ride. The best parts would be when the bandit takes over your car and The wicked witch of the West in the wizard of Oz scene. As you pass through the Western Section, look up at the buildings window to your left and you will see a pretty big hidden mickey. I heard somewhere though that the ride was going to have a finale in which the wizard from wizard of oz came out, and then all of the characters would appear, but it couldnt be done, since Disney only owned about 2 1/2 minutes of the wizard of oz. I thought this would be a pretty interesting little fact. Besides that the ride is fun. Oh, and they should update some of the scenes into more recent movies.

A classic ride. This is always a fun ride to go on, and is fun to look back at all of the old movies.

A classic MGM ride that is unique and interesting. The hijacking part is very good and the movie scenes are great, try not to miss it.

I really enjoy this ride it is a bit of nostalgia and it belongs as the centerpiece of MGM. This is always our first stop when we arrive at MGM

We didnt get to ride this when we went to MGM last month because it was closed for renovation (damn it! everyone wanted to ride it too) but I remember going on it way back in 94 and it was a cool ride. I love how you go through all the different movie scenes and the anamatronics used were pretty good from what I remember. But I hope I get a chance to go back to MGM some time after the renovation of this so I can ride it again!

I like this ride mainly because it goes through two of my most favorite movies: Aliens and Indiana Jones. The tour guide was kind of corney. I have 2 different people "take over" the tram. One was a desperado and the other was a mobster (it would be cool if an alien took over the tram...just kidding).

This is another example of how much people under-rate disney rides. I mean come on, this ride has an average rating of 7. Its much better than a 7. Sure, some of the animatronics are looking bad, but it just all comes down to the Wizard of Oz scene. You just have to love all those damn munchkins all over the place and the wicked witch is a really good animatronic. The tour guides are soo damn annoying though. Youll be trying to hear the animatronics talk and the damn tour guide will be going on about stupid movie facts that nobody even gives a shit about. Overall, Id say this is a great ride and i cant believe they are thinking about replacing this ride with Villians! or whatever they call it. MGM needs more rides, not replacements. And if they want to replace something, you would think they would replace one of their stupider things like beauty and the beast or sounds dangerous. If they replace this ride like they keep doing to all these great rides im going to start to not like disney. I mean, they keep replacing classic attractions with total garbage like winnie the pooh replacing mr. toad. pitiful. Or buzz lightyear replacing dream flight. sad. just plain sad that disney has to forget all about Walt Disneys visions and go their own stupid modern way. I mean, look at Epcot, Walt Disney would be royally pissed if he saw what his vision of a city of the future was turned into an edutainment park that is liked by only faithful disney world fans like myself. And then, they have the nerve to create One Mans Dream at MGM and explain how all of Walts dreams were crushed to pieces by corporate asshole eisner and the new disney people who are trying to change the company with their damn pixar movies and not focusing on the staple disney animation that Walt made disney famous for. Sorry for turning this review into a speech hehe. Anyway, yep great ride.
