A great ride with an excellent queue line. It really captures the magic of some old, great films. There are some great movie scenes here - especially Indiana Jones, Alien, The Wizard of Oz, the Wild West scene, and the gangster scene. This ride is what the park is all about: movie magic.
Its summed up by the part modeled after Alien. The set is terrific - creepy, and looks just like the Nostromo (the ship from that horror/sci-fi classic). But the AA figurtes look and move like.... very clumsy animatronics that are really showing their age. The only one that moved well was the witch from the Wizard of Oz.
This was an odd ride to say the least. Its kool going through all the differnt movie scenes and i liked the part when the car gets taken over by the criminal.
O-ver Ra-ted.......this ride seriously blows. the effects are atrocious, the guides are all stupid, and the whole setup is very dated. it sucks. period.
Great ride going through some of my favorite movies (Alien, Indiana Jones ....). The driver even becomes a part of the ride more than youd expect. My favorite part has to be when the ride gets highjacked. But our tour guide comes to the rescue. Dont miss it on your trip to MGM.
Boring. The only reason anyone rides it is because the park can be seen in half a day and this is just one more ride there. Most of this park is shows.
This is the best ride in the park. yes I like the Great Movie Ride better then Tower. the Animatraonics are remarcuble life like and reprasent the movie sean. if they were t remove this ride I woudl lose all respect for the company.
It is a good ride, it could use an update though. I do like it how the drivers act some scenes out. Also the movie trailers they play get kinda old if there is a long line!
Im a movie freak, so I love this ride!!! The ride itself is really fun and amusing. The charcters and movie scenes are great. The Alien one freaks me out, hehe.
This ride is getting old. They should follow through with the plans to build a disney villans ride.
