i think this ride is overrated. i didnt think that there was much to it. the only question i have is at the end when you go past the guy and girl tied up, what were the two dudes doing?

why do they tell you to put your hand on the bars before the drop. The drop is not that great. But that is not what the ride is about. The scenes are very lame and the ride is a waist of time. But the line was fun to walk through though.

As far as charm goes, this and Splash Mountain take the awards. With the exception of a single drop, there is no thrills here to be found but -no matter- Thrill is not what this ride needs; what it needs it has had since it opened in the 70s. Atmosphere, charm and superb themeing all around. The pirate decks in the que area with the cannons is extremely neat. Great details. Once again, it gets the stamp of "classic"

Fantastic from start to finish. Wonderful atmosphere throughout - even in the queue. An all out Disney ride at its best. If some of the key figures were updated to the latest in Audio-animatronics and maybe the riders were interactively involved a little more in the story it would be awesome. A classic.

DISNEY CLASSIC. "Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirates life for me!" I love this ride and a true Disney Classic.

My love for this ride cannot be described with simple English. This ride is absolutely halarious if you can get into the spirit. Unfortunately, the California version is SO MUCH BETTER.

Its a pirates life for me!!! Animitronics at their best. No sign of aging here. Not very thrilling, but very entertaining. Pirates is the very definition of a "classic".

A classic with great theming, nice little drop.

Yawn! These animatronics are so outdated. The ride is yet another one that they copied from Disneyland yet somehow made worse. And I can totally live without seeing women being sold for sex while I am on vacation, thank you.
