Overall, this could be missed if there was a time crunch. With that being said, I can't go without seeing this show during any one of my visits. This really should be a 4D show, as scents are injected to match the scenes.

A 3d movie attraction that blends some old school Disney fun (the hyperventilating antics of Donald Duck) with latter animation (most of the songs + scenes are from the mini0renaissance of animation, ie Little Mermaid thru Lion King). It's well done, the music is good, it has its funny parts, and the 3d is used effectively. It's a fun one for the whole family.

Great, fast-paced fun that the whole family will enjoy. This ride manages to tie together many different popular characters into an amusing story. The olfactory and water effects are great and well-used. This ride was excellent.

Now don’t get me wrong; I really wanted to like this show. I really did. I mean, it always gets rave reviews from the general public and from amusement park sites as well like this, but I honestly was just disappointed in the attraction. Nonetheless, this attraction provides stability in a place where various shows have been cycled in and out in the past few years, with the Lion King show being the most recent to be replaced.

The attraction really fits in well with Fantasyland, as the exterior looks great. Also, despite how the attraction utilizes Fastpasses, don’t at all worry about lines as they were nonexistent during my trip this past summer. Really this can be attributed to the attraction’s colossal theater. Not only does the theater have countless seats, but also Disney boasts the screen as the largest 3-D screen ever constructed, and boy does it seem it.

Onto the actual show itself, I was just somewhat disappointed. The plot of the attraction is this- Donald, going against Mickey’s firm orders, tries on Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat, leading to uncontrolled chaos erupting. Personally, I thought the GCI utilized during the show was sufficient, nothing spectacular yet nothing flagrant, but the audio was well above average as I’ve come to expect from Disney. Also, the 3-D effects utilized were awe-inspiring; however, they were actually underutilized in my opinion.

So what did I necessarily dislike about the show? Well, it just wasn’t all that enjoyable for me. I mean, all of the visuals and audio were fine, but just the enjoyment factor was just lacking when compared to other shows and attractions Disney has to offer. By far my favorite part of the attraction was the incredible finale. I don’t want to give it away, but I love how it incorporated a live action animatronic and it was just quite frankly a blast! Also, the show is pretty lengthy as well, somewhere around the neighborhood of 10-12 minutes.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic definitely is an achievement for Disney with all of the audio and visual flawlessly combined to create a picture-perfect show, but personally I just didn’t enjoy the plot line and substance as much as with other attractions. Despite my own disappointment with the attraction, I definitely recommend that you give the show a chance since I believe I’m one of the rare individuals who dislikes this film.

I must say that I was dissapointed with this 3-D show. It has no imagination at all and is overrated. None of the sequences make any sense. Skip this all together. This attraction needs to be torn down pronto.

I was really expecting more than clips from Disney Movies strung together with a weak Mickey Mouse/Donald Duck storyline. I would have expected a better story from Disney. It bothered me too how all of the non-CGI characters looked so blatenly CGI.

The 3D effects were very well done though, and the expanding screen was a nice suprise too.

Definitely the BEST 3D show Ive ever seen. I have never seen a more "in your face" show than this, because the images literally hit you in the face! The smells during "Be Our Guest" and the feeling of flight during "A Whole New World" are wonderful. Philharmagic is a wonderful montage/homage to the Disney greats coupled with outstanding 3D effects making it one of my favorite attractions at WDW.

Im not a fan of 3D shows. My eyes apparently dont like them much, and stuff goes out of focus a lot. I wind up having to take the glasses off several times just to see whats going on. Also, I dont like it when they do the stupid 3D trick of making stuff move right into your face, thus irritating your third eye. Mickeys PhilharMagic is the Lexus of 3D shows. I could see everything in vibrant technicolor. No focus problems, and no annoying 3D stuff jammed into your face. The 3D effect just seems to get better and better in this show, until one point the characters are on a flying carpet that appears to be literally 3-4 feet away from you. Calling this show Mickeys PhilharMagic is somewhat of a misnomer, because Mickey is barely in it. Donald Duck is the star of this show. I also found Minnies porno sounding voice in the waiting room hilarious.
