The rating here is devised when I compare this version to the far superior attraction in Disneyland, Anaheim. They seem to have cut out a whole third of the ride and, in doing so, diminished the great build-up to the storyline.

A true Disney classic! A surprising drop, and incredible theming! Love it!

All in all, this one is pretty good. The ride could stand a little more zest (for instance, the cannon battle between the pirate ship + the fort seems half-hearted - needs more splashes + bangs) but it has its good parts. Its also immaculately themed, with good animatronics and lavish detail in the sets. Plus, it undeniably gains coolness points cause, hey --- pirates! Drink up me hearties, yo ho. :beer:

A classic boat ride. I like the part during the storm where you go down the drop in the dark. This dark ride does a good job of mixing humor with theming to create a great attraction. Pirates is an important part of Disney history, showing how Imagineering can create a timeless attraction without the use of film characters.

The ride was pretty good. the "Dead men tell no tales" drop caught me by surprise so I liked that. My favorite part was the parrot that sits outside before you go iine. He cracked me up!

Definite classic at Disney. *****Theming as Disney always does. Its nice and cool inside, and its on water which has an unexpected little drop for you. Everyone who enjoys great theming and Disney Magic will love Pirates of the Carribean!

the line is short most of the time and the ride is good. the drop in it used to be bigger which i liked alot. now that drop sucks. it still is good overall

Great themeing. I wish the drop was better though.

I have been on this ride many times and I enjoy it each time. A timeless classic. Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me. You will find yourself humming that for hours after you experience this attraction I originally rated it a "9" but that is unfair to a true Disney Classic.

This is a great ride. It has great theming. I didnt expect the drop.
