Splash Mountain is quite possibly my all-time favorite log flume. It is a very long ride that will get you wet, but probably not soaked, so everyone should be satisfied. The theming surpasses even Disney quality. It starts off a bit slow as riders travel around outside of the mountain, but then there is a fun little drop that immerses everyone in the world of Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear, and Brer Fox. It is all very bright, colorful, and cheery, and there is another down-and-up-again drop that is just great. The tone changes when Brer Rabbit is caught, with a much more somber mood leading up to the big drop. The drop itself feels much larger than it is, and it is incredibly photogenic as well. It looks absolutely spectacular not just to riders dropping down into the briar patch, but also to observers watching from the path in front of the ride. The last scene before returning to the station is a perfect, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah finale. Along with Indiana Jones and the three coasters (Space Mountain, the Matterhorn, and Big Thunder Mountain), Splash Mountain rounds out my top five favorite rides at Disneyland.

One of the best flume ride out there. Not only is the drop REALLY steep, but the theming is top notch. The line can get LONG during the summer days though. Even if the line looks short on the outside, it can go on forever once youre inside the mountain. The only thing holding this back from a perfect 10 is the that log goes a little too fast so you cant catch all the little details they put into this great ride.

This has to be my favorite ride at the Disneyland Resort. I have tried to ride this ride every time since I was a kid, but lately, it has been really busy and the Fastpass is pretty much the only thing to do. The ride is long and has a nice story to it. The big drop never gets old and the pictures are always fun to look at.

im a big fan of log flumes, and what I really love about this log flume is the multiplicity of drops. The first time you ride it youre completely suprised by the coaster drop in the middle.

Best log ride anywhere (except perhaps DisneyWorld since the seats are side-by-side). Everything about this ride is top-notch, beautiful and FUN! Oh, and to those Six Flags Magic Mountain people who enjoy that rattle-trap, leaking piece of plastic Log Jammer more... Are you crazy?? *LOL*

This is a great excuse to get wet! This ride incorporates a show and a thrill ride all in one. The theming is done very nicely and the song its overdone. This line can get pretty long so a fastpass might be good. But if you dont get one, dont worry the lines move pretty fast.

Best log flume. Nice positioning of walkway/bridge adjacent to the big drop, giving park goers a great view of the screaming and fun. I love the double dip in the dark. We went Feb. 2004. No crowds on rainy days.
