SHOCKED!! I was completely suprised that I would like this ride. I was expecting it to be like Cedar Points version. That seemed really tame, and boring. This was the opposite, and I liked getting a little wet from Jet Stream. I cant wait to ride another one of this. Again, I was shocked I would like this.
Ninja is an entertaining coaster for pretty much everyone to enjoy. These Arrow suspended coasters have definitely passed their prime, but its still nice to see Ninja remain a favorite at Magic Mountain despite all the latest and greatest coasters being added. Set on the Samurai Summit hillside, Ninja swoops and dives among the trees and support posts exactly the way a suspended coaster should. There are even some significant positive g-forces as the train careens just above the Jet Stream lake. The two problems with Ninja are the short duration and the extremely anticlimactic lift hill that ends the ride. Nonetheless, well worth a ride if the line is tolerable, and it often is.
this ride is a little too short for the long wait in line. The ride is really fun and all but its just too short. Go on it if the line is short.
This is not in the same league as Big Bad Wolf, but still rates a little above average. The turns through the trees and over walkways is pretty cool. The fact that the lift takes you BACK to the station is wierd but doesent really take away anything because whether it was at the beginning or end it still would be there. This isnt going to blow you away, but they are rare so its worth a try.
This Is a fun family coaster. Better then xlr8 but worse then big bad wolf. The line for this was a walk on, a huge plus. And the ride itself wasnt to bad either. The ride starts with a slow lift up about 50 feet. We then banked right into a series of fast turns and quick elements. The only problem was that their was no real big drop. The helix over the water was fun and the trees around it made it much better. The swinging motion was fun too. The thing that brings this down the most is the ending lift. We got stuck on it for 10 minutes. It began to get really uncomfortable. Another great thing about this is that this ride is smooth. Almost as smooth as a B&M. I rode up front and there was no headbanging. There was very little towards the back. 2 train operations, yay!

We got a front row ride at night and oh my gosh, the sustained speed is incredible. Well... maybe not incredible but fast for a suspended. This is a very good suspended, almost as good as Big Bad Wolf.
i thought ninja was pretty cool. also, for the people complaining about no drops, i think this was more of a banked turn ride while swinging.
suspended coasters just dont do it for me. I never felt the swinging motion and just didnt come off the ride happy. Luckily this was a walk-on for me.
ok you guys calm down bout how "boring, slow, kids ridish" it was and just accept... it was built in 90 intention? a new "swinging, suspended" coaster... not really a success but still ya know its a cool idea TRY RIDING IN FRONT!
Wow this ride is fun...maybe if your 5! This ride SERIOUSLY sucks, total baby ride. Damn I was expecting a real coaster, but it was so boring. There was not one drop and it went really slow. My friend was talking on her cell phone on this ride! No thrills at all
A really smooth, fast, quiet, and sort of scary ride. The banked turns make it smooth and the scenery is really cool. Using typical grading criteria this is the funnest ride in SF, BUT it doesnt fell like it should be the best. Not worth a long wait.
