This ride hurt so much; maybe because Im tall, but it feels like a truck is driving over my shins. I strongly advise anybody who is 6 or taller to avoid this ride at all costs! Ive ridden it 5 times, each time at a different height in the "seat", and it hurts worse each and every time I do. Ive asked advice from the coasters attendants, followed the advice, and still come off the ride feeling like my shins are going to explode.
I had to wait 45 minutes for this one, but it was defintely worth it. I had a bit of trouble with the standup restraints, but once you figure it out its pretty simple. The standup aspect made the ride a little more interesting too. I went on a Monday to SFMM and this was actually my 2nd longest line of the day at 45 min, which isnt too bad. Definitely a recommended ride if youre at SFMM.
Awsome ride. Great drop. Great Theming. Great loops. Total smoothness. And best of all you are standing up the whole time!!!! Loads pretty slow but its definatly worth it. Dont miss it.
Great stand up, great elements
I did not enjoy this as much as other rides at Magic Mountain but its still great. This ride is smoother then Mantis and much stronger. I found this ride preety hard on the legs but its so smooth with well preformed loops. This ride flows well from one inversion to another and the theming on this ride is great. This was my first standup and it was an experience ill not soon forget. Riddlers is an enjoyable ride.
The Riddlers Revenge is a great stand-up coaster, and a great ride in general. The first drop is nice, followed by that enormous vertical loop, which, especially in the back, gives the feeling of "Are we going to make it through this?" Two other diving loops follow, and then the oblique loop, which is like a vertical loop tilted on its side a bit. A nice twist follows, then the mid-course brakes, but there is great airtime coming off the brakes (especially, again, in the back). Two corkscrews follow, as well as another airtime-producing jump. Airtime while standing is another sensation altogether from airtime while sitting. The final praise that I can give the Riddler is that it is ultra smooth. Each time I ride I remark to myself how amazing it is that it is so unbelievably smooth. I rank Riddler even higher than Magic Mountains other two B&Ms, Scream and Batman.
Yep, the best stand-up, better than Mantis or Chang. Very smooth and great elements. Yes, you can see everything unobstructed from the front but you can enjoy the Gs as they are meant to be felt in the back.
this was a great ride but must be ridden on the front row or you cant see a thing on any stand up coasters, and dont listen to anyone that tells you to jump when they lock your seat height because it really hurts or the stand backwords and hug the seat trick because that breaks your neck. also the smothness of this ride is unbelievable and dont be fooled if you want to go on the front row it is a good 1 1/2 hours once your in the building (if there is only 1 train) but it is all worth it and 1 other thing the music is good but its like a 2 minuite song they play over and over again it is SO anoying, (the others that like it are mad)!
The best ride at the park and my favorite all-time roller coaster. The song upstairs is good too.
it was my first stand up coaster and i enjoyed my experience but there was only one train running which made the line bout two hours which kinda sucked but still good the first loop is the best and it has a good drop, when you go into the first loop you can feel the presure on your legs its great and the music in the loading station rocks
