God, what a coaster! Best location, best trains, best everything. My #2 coaster of all time, and best B&M ever.

Update...I rode it on Sept 15, 2001 and it is now my #1 coaster! Yes, it beat out my beloved Millennium Force. It was indescribable at night.

Haha I just read my old review of this ride hahaha. ANYWAY yes Nitro is rockin. Lots of what you call.... "air time". The drop is a steep one, you get lots of speed, and theres some nice fun elements. I wish though in addition to the lap bar they had a seatbelt on the thing cause if that thing ever failed you would go FLYINGGGGG and that frightened me but besides that its all good in the hood. peace

I love this coaster so much. If i could ride this all day long I would. The first drop is full of airtime. Great Adventure has another winner this year in Nitro. I cant wait till Fright Fest to ride this baby at night when its colder out.

I love this coaster. This is an amazing ride. Smooth, fast, great airtime, gs, length everything about this ride is top-notch. I would not make this coaster any smoother. Its almost too smooth!!! Hypersonic I heard is ultra smooth...Who cares? You are on a ride here. You do want to feel some movement of the car. However if ur lookin to get thrown around on Nitro, dont think about it. Desperado was a little rough, but not a reason to not like it. Nitro perfects the Hyperc in every way, even though there are similar rides. The view is not as amazing as the other Hyper I rode, Desperado, due to the fact that we are in the middle of Jersey, blah. Hell, this is still 5th all time on my top ten list and I have ridden a couple of rides in my time. It should deffinitly be somewhere on ur list too after you ride it.

Great Addition to a Great Park. Six Flags Great Adventure wouldnt be able to draw as many people as they have this year without Nitro. Its a must ride.

The initial drop is incredible. It has good speed and airtime. The restraints are nice and unrestrictive. An all around good ride.

This is my favorite steel coaster ever!! The First drop is awesome especially in the back with loads of airtime on the way down. The hills give good air in the front seat and that helix gives great positive gs. The bunnyhops at the very end are great fun. Definately one of B&Ms best!

This is one of the 3 B&M speed coasters in the world but its not a 10 because looks like all the others hyper coasters but the train is fantastic!

This is one of the best coasters I have ever ridden. I love all three of B&Ms Speed Coasters, and this may well be the best of them all. You get incredible airtime, and the first drop plus the helixes towards the back of the layout are awesome.
