This is a great intense ride I love the First Drop, Second drop, Hammerhead, Double Helix, and Bunny hops. B&M did a great job with this one! This is the best B&M hypercoaster by Far!

When I rode this, it was the biggest coaster I had been on ever. Scared the crap out of me. Thinking back to it, this is one of my favorites. A lot of speed, good airtime, and a good layout makes this worthy of a ten.

Hands down, the best steel coaster Ive ever been on. The speed is EXTREMELY exhilirating and the first and second drop are INSANE! The hammerhead is really cool, but the first drop is still the best. Your first ride is very exciting because you have no clue what you are in for. The breather brakes are so close to the station, that you thing its the end of the ride, until you start doing great bunny hops that have great airtime. The entire ride has EXTREME airtime. This has to be the best coaster on the East coast, and its definitly the best coaster Ive been on and I think youd agree if you rode it!

This is an absolutely incredible coaster! Everything about this ride, the first and second drops, the hammerhead, the helix, and the final bunny hops are great and this thing delivers more air then any other coaster I have experienced.

When I heard B&M and hyper coaster in the same sentence, I thought I was in heaven. Boy was I disappointed. The only thing I like about this coaster was the turn on the top of the second hill and the last few bunny hops. The first drop was lame. The station was boring and the themeing......there was NO themeing. The lack of themeing made the ride even more boring. Yes, Nitro was a good coaster. However, when compared to Superman at SFNE, this ride doesnt even compare.

i think that this was an excellent ride. If you wanna get front row seats (like me) the line is terrible, it only moves like every five minutes. But finally, when you get on it is kool. When i was sitting there in the station, i got really scared because the only thing holding you is a five inch lap bar. Once the operator says, "clear!" you go down i tiny hill (it seems really big when your actually on the ride). You go up 215ft, and it says your higher than the LEANING TOWER OF PISA MAN!!! You pummel down to earth at 80 mph at an about 20 degree angle dude!! You go up 2 more high drops, then into a hammerhead maneuver. the you go up another hill then into a helix that brings you up. Then another hill and a couple of really lame hills at the end. The end almost snapped my neck at the end because of the huge stop. Anyway. Third best ride in the park, behind batman and robin:the chiller and medusa. I think it gets a nine because of the line and the lame ending!! Still, a must if you ever go to six flags great adventure!!!

I work at sfgadv and i rode nitro about 70 times. The reason why this ride isnt filled with air and intensity is because they asked for more like a family hyper sort of like how medusa was meant to be a family floorless coaster and everyone loves it. You cant help but to make Nitros 215 ft drop incredible but after that it is pretty tame its overall a nice ride. (It would have been better if they would have made that tunnel that was supposed to be at the bottom of the first drop and gave it a superman theme like it was planned to be.) But any way the Chiller is still #1. But if you want intensity wait until we unleash whats planned for next year......hmmm did someone say possibly a 4d and a woodie in a new themed area.

Just got back a few days ago from my first ride on Nitro. The wait time in line goes by very quickly. The first drop is nice, but after that Superman Ride of Steel has it beat by a long shot. The airtime isnt really there like it is on Superman, but the ride is fun. The speed, although said to be 80 mph, doesnt seem that fast. And I dont see how Nitro is voted better than Superman anyday.

Well, thanks to SFNE totally ruining Superman, this is now the best Hypercoaster on the east coast. Comfortable, great floater aitime, and awesome drops. Strong 9.
