I'm glad they tore it down. I only rode it once because it was very boring. I don't think many people miss it.

This ride sucks for several reasons. The main reason is that while you are standing in line, you can see the giant buzzsaw, and that it sweeps out over the boat, then goes back. By the time you get to it on the ride you are like "duh!". The rest of it is just plain boring. One thing about it is that you do get very wet! I will ride this on occasion if I am really hot and in need of a cool down, because the line never seems to be that long anymore. It is my understanding that they are planning on shutting this ride down to build a different one in its space. I hope so, because this is definatly a sorry ride. This is also one of the newest rides in SDC. The only halfway good thing about the ride, other than the fact that you get soaked, is that it has a fairly cool drop off, but not the greates. It will leave butterflies in your stomach for a while though.

The ride I wanted to love... I had heard about how this ride and the concept was amazing. Well, the concept part was correct. I think its neat how this ride works, but I can see some room for improvement (like the trains). When it comes to Buzzsaw (the actual ride), there is LOTS of room for improvement. The ride, like most water rides, has horrible capacity. The trains are a true pain, too. You have to step onto the wet seats then step down into the narrow space for your legs. I can see how someone could easily slip despite the gripers on the seat (however I never saw this happen). The ride starts with a slide out of the station into the water chute. Water pours over the side of the car. A few slow, uneventful turns in flume form and the car heads up the wet lift. This is where the transition from flume to coaster takes place. The wheels of the car slide on the coaster track and off we go into the short, but not so sweet coaster portion. The car dips, dips and then... dips into a turn. Youre probably thinking airtime now. Ha! These dips are forceless... along with the turn that leads up into the dry, chain lift (at least there are trees near it). Odd thing, the beginning of the lift is a slight slope upward and then becomes steep. The lift offers a good view of the surrounding landscape and takes a left turn to line up for the drop. You hear the statistics about how tall the lift is and everything. It is true the lift is tall however this is decieving. The lift is tall become it over a part of the mountain that begins to slope down into the valley. The actual drop on this ride isnt very close to the lifts height. I would say its around 40-50 feet (more towards the 40). The drop enters the ending splash pool where the car throws more water in front of them than on the riders. A slow turn in the water (but still on coaster track) finds you back in the station.

This ride simply sucked. It was horrible. There is nothing to it. It has an average flume float to the lift. Then when it gets on the coaster track, it just has a few small forceless dips and goes through a dull turn onto the lift. The final drop is nothing, in fact you get wetter on most shoot the chute rides. Overall, I hated this ride. I wouldnt wait 5 minutes for it. It has a good view from the lift but other than that, it was a bore. The trains are also hard to get into. You have to step on the seats (which are usually wet) then step down into your seat.

The coaster ride part was ok, a little rough, but the tripple down gave a little air, and that last drop was really pretty fun, and you can get pretty wet.

Short but sweet. BuzzSaw Falls gives that extra special splash of excitement. The sign at the gate says: You will get very very wet. BF was the first of its kind (AquaCoster or LiquidCoaster) and Premier Rides did a great job. The boat free-floats in water like a flume, but then locks on the tracks and coasters away. You just have to ride it again and again.

This ride is weird and some parts are kinda boring. The Ride has a good theme. I was very interested how the wheels got on the track from the free floating boat/coaster. The coaster part of the ride needed to be longer.

I deffinitley liked the coaster/water ride mix on this. I rode in the front seat on this ride and I got soaked! The coaster part of the track was short but it was still fun.

Another triumph for SDC! A flume that starts in water, falls into a coaster for a bit, then lifts into a giant plunge into more water! Just like Wildfire at SDC, you get a great view of the Ozark Mountains in the extended lift (more flat track at the top than usual). A great ride that mixes a water ride and a coaster perfectly!
