This Wild Mouse isn't anything to write about. It was much slower than Hershey's. Not the worst Wild Mouse but not even near the best.
The Wild Mouse at Dorney Park is pretty much your standard wild mouse roller coaster, and therefore I give it my "standard" wild mouse rating of a six. Nothing really stands out with this one in terms of the ride to make it extremely memorable, although it is still moderately fun and kids will especially like it. And the coaster is almost geared specifically to them, at least you would think that with the cramped nature of the cars. My biggest beef (aside from the agonizingly slow line, which seems to just be a wild mouse standard) with the ride is those cars, which are rather uncomfortable for this rodent of a ride. The hairpin turns arent too bad, but the speed isnt too great on the ride overall. The drops are decent for a mouse, but theres no air or recognizable forces found anywhere. Its a coaster thats just sort of there....worth a ride if you can wait under 15 minutes, but otherwise, there are plenty of other much better coasters to ride in the park that a long line on this just isnt worth the time.
This was a mediocre wild mouse. The hairpin turns were horrible, as each one was braked and they were therefore very slow and boring. The drops however were pretty good and zippy and a few even gave some air.
Defintiely one ride to skip. I finally rode this thing this year during halloweekends. Very crowded. The slow loading on this baby didnt help as every ride in the park had atleast a good 20-30 minute wait.
I can safely say i absolutely hated this thing. I dont see how anyone could enjoy that terrible feeling of the car flying off the turns. That is so scary and weird feeling. I couldnt stand the ride at all. I didnt feel that it was rough on those corners, but is kinda smooth in the abruptness of it. I was so glad it was over. The only rough part i really can remember on this horrid piece of junk is the lift hill. Very jerky.
long line, short ride. Bad.
Just ride these for their particularly scary hairpin turns. Jeez, the ride feels so dangerous at that part. Nothing else on the ride other than some boring drops. What was funny about the ride was that it provided the longest wait time even though its sort of for kids. Guess the rides concept is popular, at least I rated it as better than Hydra.
Man there are a lot of these in the world. the 2 adult per car thing is the dumbest rule ever. Especially since it is not a rule at other CF parks. The rest of the ride was fine. Nothing rough or memorable, just another clone. On a side note some people need to toughen up a little bit and realize it is a coaster not a drive in a Lexus.
I am not a huge wild mouse fan to begin with, but this one was a little worse than usual on the rough side of things.
I cant believe nobody likes this ride! The hairpin turns were cool. The lines werent long, and this wild mouse was fasinating. Definetly not the best ride at Dorney, but its worth a ride!
Worst coaster at Dorney Park. First off this is the second coaster that requires you to take loose articles with you on the train. Did they not think to build loose article bins while building this ride? There are signs that say only 2 adults per car but that didnt stop four of us, all over 21 from getting onto the train. I think it was the attendant just not caring probally, cause the other attendant stop our other group of 4 from riding together. The ride itself is painfull as you ride quickly into 180 degree turns that throw you against the side the the seat, this leaves your side and ribs hurting alot after the ride. If you visit Dorney just skip this coaster and ride something better.
An average wild mouse. Didnt like it much, especially after the very long line we waited in (the park was pretty empty too). The thing is, if theres a line, you can definalty skip this one.
