Its not supposed to be one of those cheap flume rides like at great america, its what you see along the way.

Best ride there is and probably ever will be. You will, I repeat, WILL LOVE this ride. Its worth an entire trip to California, Florida or even JAPAN to experience this ride. If Walt were still alive hed be disgusted by atrocities such as Alien Encounter but would be damn proud of this one. Splash Mountain is the crown jewel of the Disney Empire. Ride this one, itll most likely be the hi-light of your trip.

Worst Water Ride Ive I Have Ever Been On.You Never Get Wet And Takes To long To Get To The Big Drop.

As far as thew ride itself Ive been on at least three that are better. The themeing is the usual impeccable standard Disney delivers. However, Im wondering who this ride is geared towards. It has to be a limited audience. The ride would be too much for most small children whod find the characters and story amusing while the story is silly and juvenile for those old enough to enjoy the ride itself. Unless you fall into the 6-8 year old demographic, youll probably not be happy with one of of this ride or the other.

A good flume, very cute, but could they have convoluted the Brer Rabbit stories a little more?!?!? That first song is absolutely hideous and they make Brer Rabbit out to be a total jerk. And then we only get a little smidgen of "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" which is only about a million times better than all the other songs you constantly hear in WDW ("Its a Small World," "Circle of Life," "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" etc). No one may do it like Disney, but IOA did the flume BETTER with Dudley Do-Right!

A great, imaginative flume ride.

Disneys theming at its best. The drop is above average for log flume standards, but no where near the grand finale of Dudly Do Rights flume. However they receive the same score (9) from me simply because the rest of the ride on Splash Mountain is more enjoyable then that of IOAs flume. The story of Brer Fox is like living a childrens book. It really brings out the kid in everyone, but not to the point of annoyance. This ride has Disneys best animitronics, period. I also like how you go up a big lift in the dark, it makes it more suspensful. If Disney spent this much time and effort in California Adventures Grizzly River Run and other new rides, that park wouldnt have been a disaster...

If you dont like Splash Mountain, youre not from this planet. The most magical place on earth creates the happiest, most infectious ride on earth. Just try to leave the ride without singing "Zip a Dee Do Dah." Once again, *nobody* does it better than Disney.

Hmmm, nice drop, but the theming may have gone too far. If I hear Zip-a-dee-doo-da one more time...
