While it may not be the most realistic attraction, the the theming is great. Save the Dinosaur and bring it back before the strike ends every living thing on the planet!

Jurassic Park at universal studios is better. The animatronics suck for about 3/4 of the ride, until the end when it really feels like the carnotaur is chasing you. But before that happens, you JUST SIT THERE IN FRONT OF HIM WHILE THE SCIENTIST TALKS?!? Come on! It's a CARNIVORE! It eats MEAT! It isn't just going to sit there and stare at you for as long as the scientist guy feels like talking... well, that's what happened, and it was really lame.

Great themeing alone makes this one a must see. Ride it early in the day if you can.

Really fun but could be a lot better. What the ride lacks in visuals and story they try to compensate with earsplitting roars and extremely jerky ride controls. The lighting effects on the dinosaurs couldve been improved, some of the time you can barely see them. Also i wouldve liked it to start of a little more serene and then get intense with the asteroids and carnotaurus later. It plops you in a frantic setting right at the beginning so its tough to get into the story. But all in all DINOSAUR is an incredibly intense ride and the technology that is used is state of the art. The way the car bumps over the imaginary terrain and reacts to the dinosaurs is surreal. Thrill seekers will really love it!!

Very well done. The extreme turbulence and jerkiness of the ride may be difficult for some, however. The many dinosaurs are well-done; the only one I felt didn't measure up was the pterodactyl, which is very obviously static when the call of "Incoming!" comes down. I found the ride exciting and interesting. Young children are likely not to enjoy this attraction, because it operates largely in the dark and they may be intimidated by the dinosaurs.

First let me start out by saying that since I was a little kid I have liked dinosaurs. That being said, I thought this was a great ride. Everything is done very well, the animatronics, the sound, the way the ride vehicle moves, everything. The parts where the carnotaurus are after you are the best. The only part I think was not done very well is when the flying dinosaur flies over you you can easily see the wires. I know that would be very difficult to hide but this is Disney after all. This in my opinion is the best ride at animal kingdom. Overall rating 4.75

An incredibly fast-paced, loud, dark and bumpy thriller of a ride. If that's your bag - you're in luck!

The effects, sounds and Dino-design are all very well-done here. Even though most of the ride takes place in near-complete darkness the immaculate detail and realism stands out and the soundtrack/fx are very fitting.

Couple that with a satisfying ride duration and decent pre-ride atmosphere and you have a great attraction second in Disney's Animal Kingdom only to Expedition Everest.

An extremely and perhaps, at times, excessively turbulent ride experience may make it a bit unpleasant for some little ones, but it's really no worse than any ride of equal thrill factor and should be quite do-able for most anyone in the family.
