The effects, the concept and the drops and turns are pretty good, but the ride is too intense. The dinosaurs do look real, though. I wouldn't suggest taking the little ones on this one. Also, if you'd like a more frightening experience, sit in the back row on the right side, as the bumps will feel more exaggerated. The lines aren't long near park closing (the most I waited was about 10 minutes?).
This ride was pretty cool. The dinosoars seemed real. It was also pretty thrilling. The ride length was nice. That one dinosaur breathed on you. The ptyradactyle scared me. Very nice ride.
I will start off by saying that I came on expecting Indiana Jones, only without Indiana Jones and instead with dinosaurs. It was partially true, but Indiana Jones simply is an all-around better ride. Let me start off by saying that this rides plot was pretty weak, but once the ride began I was pretty impressed. All of the dinosaurs looked very realistic and they sounded even better and some even sent shivers up my spine with their roars. Now as with Indiana Jones, this is a pretty brutal ride for Disney, but as an experienced theme park jockey, I was perfectly fine, but it was pretty rough for young kids. Now Dinosaur was an all-around good ride, but when I came off I just felt that Disney could have done a slightly better job.
Great dark ride. The dinos are pretty cool and the other effects are cool as well.
The car was awesome and the ride had awesome special effects.
Well, as my user name suggests, I love dinosaurs and this ride certainly didnt disappoint. The story was a bit crazy in my opinion, but the ride itself was amazing. All of the dinosaur animatronics were huge and very lifelike, and a few even made me jump at points during the ride. The ride wasnt overly long, but the what was included in the ride was exceptional.
This is my all time favorite dark ride! It was dark and loud and scary, and the dinosaurs really seemed to have a life of their own. The rapid pacing and darkness of the ride really make it exciting. Disney did a great job on this one. The story line is a little hard to follow once on the ride, but that makes it all the better because I really didnt know what to expect next. I love that the ride vehicles travel up and down hills instead of on a flat surface simulating traveling up or down. It really adds an extra umph to kick the ride experience up a notch. Especially at the end when the vehicle drops down just missing the Carnotaurs giant, massive head! But the best part of the ride is seeing the pictures at the end. In every picture you will see some terrified parent pushing their kids heads down and trying to shield them and cover them from the craziness of the ride! It is so funny!
Dark and thrilling, excellent story behind the ride. The time vehicle is especially cool
Dark and hard to tell whats going on. Enjoyable if you have good night vision though. Features some very scary dinosaurs.
