There are no words that can even explain the intensity of this awesome ride. The speed alone is overwhelming, 94 mph after a 300 ft drop at an 80 degree angle. The air time was so crazy and so were the three major overbanked turns. Nothing can slow this coaster down...its still going around 60 mph when you hit the breaks! Go on it in the moning or you will have to wait on a 2 hr line. GO ON THIS RIDE..
This coaster leaves the general public a little bewildered sometimes Ive noticed. Its really unlike anything ever devised. Its lacking many of the traditional twists, hops, and elements they expect and just delivers pure speed even if its the speed of your body floating through mid air. Its unprecidented. Beautiful. And it really seems to take your body and soul to a new place. Long live Millennium Force.
This is my absolute favorite ride (so far). The only reason I gave it a 9 is to leave room at the top for something I havent seen yet (like what CP is building for 2003). The airtime on this ride is great. Believe it or not, the most terrifying part of the ride isnt going DOWN the first hill, but going up it. There are no sides to the cars, so its a little un-nerving as your being pulled up the 300+ monster. My boyfriend and I rode this and then went and rode Titan at Six Flags over Texas. We took one look at Titan and said "They call that a hill?".
Do this ride first thing or youll be sorry...the line gets long quickly, even late in the season.
AMAZING! What else can I say?
Millenium Force is an awesome ride with some dissapointments. The first drop and overbanked turns are amazing, but I felt the rest of the ride was lacking. There wasnt as much airtime as other Intamin hypers, and I felt the rest of the layout after the first overbanked turn was bland. Expect a long line.
Great ride! Has everything you want; speed, height, and air-time!
Bow down before your king. Millenium Force is like no other ride in the USA. To take a trip on this monster is almost spiritual. The overbanked turns are fun, and for a speed coaster there is pleantly of air time. The view from the first hill is stupendous!
Sick and twisted totally awesome
Millennium Force is the greatest roller coaster ever built! The first drop is absolutely incredible! The "butterfly stomach" feeling lasts all the way to the ground. The blistering speed adds to the excitement and the overbanked turns are amazing! Theyre so steep that you fall onto your lapbar as you go through them. Also, the amount of airtime on the camelback hills is tremendous. Youre out of your seat for what feels like an eternity on the 182 ft. 3rd hill and 100 ft 4th hill. Even the bunny hop on the way back to the station gives you great airtime! Millennium Force is definitely a TOP TEN RIDE!
A great ride. It is all about the speed, and the floater airtime on the hills. The overbanked turns are good too, although I do like laterals at times. The coaster just blows you away. Lots of fun, and its alot better when you have a 30 minute wait, and you get the front!
