In my first two visits to Hersheypark, I decided to skip their Tilt-a-Whirl due to both a sizeable line and an eagerness to spend almost all my time on their more unique rides. However, this past year I decided to give Hershey’s Tilt-a-Whirl a whirl during my visit. Located next to the Comet’s snow white structure, the Tilt-a-Whirl has a very clean paint scheme, but ultimately looks no different than your average tilt-a-whirl. During my past visit, the Tilt-a-Whirl was a one cycle wait, but it past visits the line had appeared far longer. One thing is for sure though; it’s not due to slow loading. The operator really loaded the ride quickly.
The ride itself is basically your average tilt-a-whirl. Hershey clearly takes good care of their version though since the spinning is very fluid and smooth, which suggests that they frequently grease the tracks. During my ride, I got some really good and complete spins that produced some strong Gs like most tilt-a-whirls do. As for the ride duration, it seemed about average for a tilt-a-whirl, which makes sense since the ride’s low capacity inhibits a long cycle at such a big and busy park.
Overall, Hershey’s Tilt-a-Whirl is a very average tilt-a-whirl in my opinion. During a visit to Hershey, the Tilt-a-Whirl can easily be skipped for their far better and more unique attractions; however, if you are a major spinning ride fan feel free to give it a whirl if the line is short since there’s nothing wrong with it. Honestly, it just doesn’t stack up to the park’s other offerings, which is a testament towards how great Hershey is since I am usually a tilt-a-whirl fan.
I liked the ride, but it wasnt that great. Besides Claw, it was the best flat at Hershey (that I rode). It was fast, and intense in a couple parts through the spins. Also, it had a great location in the older section of Hersheypark! Almost a 7, but I will settle for a 6.
This is a very fun tilt-a-whirl, more parks should have them. Can go pretty fast at some points.
Closest I have been to throwing up in a while. It was very hat so the little cars were like magnifying glasses and then I spun at least 20 times before I lost count. Seems like a good version if this is your type of ride. For me just a credit.
A regular Tilt-a-Whirl. You know what they do
Eh. Short ride cycle just like the rest of the flats at the park. It is your standard Tilt-a-Whirl, however, I didnt get that much spinning action and it wasnt that much fun.
One of the better Tilt-A-Whirls I have ridden .I got tons of spinning and there was no line. Good family ride.
This is a great Tilt-A-Whirl, its pretty fast.
This was a marvelous T.A.W. It spun very fast and look brand new.

Its your average spinning ride. Really fast and fun for children but it can make you dizzy.
