Dont take anything electronict because your are screwed this ride is awsome the rapids really build up to the finale where its just you the river and water falls everywhere great way to cool of and the wait is never too long!

From what I can remember, this was my first rapids ride and I shared it on a great day at the park with a good deal of my family. It was a ride that was very family friendly, a ride that even my mother and grandmother were willing to go on over and over again. The ride has a nice placement in the park and has some pretty good outdoor theming to it. However, the ride is the best part of it all. It was an absolute blast time and time again. We had gone on it early in the day in an attempt to cool off, and we all found it so thrilling and to be so much fun, that even after the weather began to cool, we were going through the queue (as the ride was a walk-on because there werent anyother morons stupid enough to go on this thing after the 20 degree temperature drop) and getting ready for another fun filled ride of rapids and waterfalls, gentle tosses and tumbles that would get us completely drenched. Can anyone say, Pneumonia? Who cares?! We were having a blast. Of course, this was about 15 or so years ago, but during my last visit, the ride looked to be just as good as what I remember it being. Now they have the imfamous quarter water guns for those of us who are twisted enough to shoot water in the faces of unsuspecting victoms and love to witness them squeal. Anyway, this ride will get you soaked while you have a fun and fantasic ride. It is great for the whole family and is something that cant be missed. Some enjoy Roller Soaker a little more, but if you ask me, this is the best water ride in the park.

One of the best water rides. You will get drenched on this ride because of the rapids and the really close water falls on the sides. The water falls will get you every time and there is no escaping them!

Canyon River Rapids is a drenching river rapids ride and is my second favorite one behind Kali River Rapids. Located in Pioneer Frontier, Canyon River Rapids occupies a large area of land with the rides layout hidden from view. With a decent capacity because of the many rafts Canyon River Rapids uses. When I rode Canyon River Rapids, it was a walk-on because I rode it at night. From what I saw, Canyon River Rapids appeared to have a 20-25 minute wait during the day. The hotter it is, the longer Canyon River Rapids wait is. Riding in orange rafts, each raft seats 6 riders. After being restrained by a seatbelt, you begin your soaking adventure. Throughout the pretty long ride, there are many rapids that each get whoever rides into them backwards soaked. Geysers scattered throughout the ride get anyone hit by them drenched. By far the best and wettest part of Canyon River Rapids is the waterfall finale. You have a few consecutive waterfalls that are undodgable. All of the waterfalls are guarenteed to get you soaked and drenched. Overall, a great river rapids ride with ony one downfall, the water used for Canyon River Rapids smells very bad. I highly recommend Canyon River Rapids on a hot day to anyone who enjoys river rapids rides.

This ride has a great waterfall fanalle 8), but lacks excitement during the rest of the ride.

I really liked this one. You will get really soaked, no matter what anyone says. They also have a dry storage compartment to put in your shoes and other things you dont want wet. Pretty nifty too. The Rapids are really wild and make for a great ride.

A really good rapids ride that shouldnt be missedon a trip to Hershey Park. The rapids look to be really tame and overall a piece of crud. The lines are HUGE and you just get sooooo annoyed as the heat of the sun beats down on you. There are some good views of some rides while in line, like the Sombrero and the Sindwinder (always fun) and I believe they sold lemonade last time I was there, but the line is still horrendious. But when you get on the ride, well, thats another story. you get SOAKED!!! The waterfalls and the drops and the overall rapids send you for a ride. There is basically no theme, but you cant notice do to the fact that your too busy getting wet. Then you get off. My sandels. whenever I stepped, Squirted out water THE WHOLE DAY!!! Now thats hard to get from other rapids! just an overall fun ride. Dont miss it!

A great river rapids ride where you have a 100% chance of getting wet due to the 3 waterfalls which cpan the entire width of the track, making it immpossible not to get soaked.
