I&#39.m going to go against the grain on this one and give it a pretty good score. This ride has a pretty good layout and has some good headchopper elements towards the end. The ride may be short but thats made up by the two laps you get while riding. To me it seems this is a very good ride for younger kids, just getting ready for the the bigger rides elsewhere in the park.

This is the only BAD coaster in Michigans Adventure. They should keep Zachs Zoomer, which is better and offers more, and get rid of this joke. Plus, as far as the name, there aint nothing big about it! Maybe replace it with a Vekoma Roller Skater coaster or something.

This is probably the worst kids coaster Ive ever been on. Very jerky and bumpy - does not suit an adult, but seems very rough even for a child. On such a small lay-out, this surprised me.

I have to laugh at the way coasters are classified. Some coasters larger than this are considered "Kiddie" coasters, while this gets called a "Family" coaster. At anyrate... its for the kids mainly. For that, it serves its purpose. For adults, unless you are riding it with your child, its one for the count, nothing more.

Pretty good junior coaster that you get to ride twice around the track. I would like to have this one in my back yard if the hills were bigger. You also get pretty good air time on it if you ride in the front seat. The only down fall is the cars are small for adults. The Big Dipper is a steel roller coaster. It is a junior. It is built by Chance in 1999. It is 17' tall, it is 350' long. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

Times ridden: 1 ~ Ride experience: 5 ~ Layout: 5 ~ Thrill factor: 3 ~ Landscaping: 4 ~ Evaluation: Theres nothing big about this Big Dipper. The ride is tame and perfect for younger kids and the kids at heart.

APPEARANCE-3 The lighthouse by the ride is cool but I dont think it is for this ride. Nothing planted in the middle of the track. It is pretty well maintained though. CAPACITY-1 Small train and the operator has to remove the seatbelt for you. I think they do that because the lap bar actually pops open during the ride. RIDE QUALITY-2 I guess for this type of ride its ok, plus you get two laps. FUN-1 Some of this coasters are funny or at least unique in their theming. This is neither. RERIDE-2 This park has no lines when I have been there, I keep going with new people, and its better then the Trabant. OVERALL-9 AVG 1.8 I am going with the one because of its total lack of creativity.

It is a kiddie coaster, but it is one that Id like to have in my backyard. It is fun and not to brutal and you actually kinda get6 air in the front.
