No joke, it's also one of my favorties! Especially on a very hot day, when you need a good soaker!
This is one of my favorite attractions at the park. The view is beautiful at the top. you get a view of the whole park and the new ride Thunderhawk. Just dont ride this ride if you dont have dry clothes or time to dry off. you will get soaked. to add to the fun u get to stand on a wooden bridge and get soaked a second time. Absolutly love this ride!
This ride is totally amazing. If you are trying to kill time at Michigan's Adventure, I suggest going to Adventure Falls. This ride has a VERY short line. There are only about 10 people in line at a time (or at least that's what it's been when I have visited). You can fit about 4 people in one row at a time and there are about 5 rows, leading up to 20 people per boat. There are usually 2 boats running, so even if there is a line, you won't have to wait for long. When seated the boat moves up a hill. This hill looks short, but it is actually pretty high and takes quite a while to work your way up. Then, the boat moves around a 180 degree corner and then zooms toward the bottom, soaking everyone on the boat and all the waiting people on the Adventure Falls Bridge waiting to be splashed. When you hit the water, there is mist all around, you can't see the people in front of you or next to you, and it feels as if you will never come back to the real world again. It is quite an experience and it is worth the "long" wait
A really nice ride that does its job, it gets you totally soaked no matter where you sit. It has great scenery just like most things in the park and is situated nicely with a viewing area and a bridge that people can stand on to get wet.
Great splash, smooth drop, and you get really wet. The only thing I dont like is you have to wear your shoes. They also have nice scenery and landscaping around the ride.
The line was fast. The splash was good. So I give it a 7.
Above average for this type of ride. great splash and a smooth drop. i did notice that it stops very suddenly at the end so watch out putting your hands up. Very nice ride and beatuiful landscaping going up to it.
Why the heck do you have to ride with shoes on this ride? its a water ride and you are next to the Water park. You dont wear shoes in the water park, but once you get up to the boat they say you have to go back and get your shoes to ride it, and forfeit your spot in line. I was not very impressed with this, you got an ok splash and that is it. This ride isnt worth more than 10 minutes.
Experience your adventure into the Wilderness. You wanted adventure then you are going to get adventure on ADVENTURE FALLS. A huge ride with a Huge Drop with a Huge Splash. First you climb up a hill. It looks small but it is really tall. It takes a while to get up the hill. When you reach the top you go into a turn. Then you quickly drop down a huge steep drop and you get soaked at the bottom. That was a wild ride. Your wilderness adventure on the boat on the river just went down the Waterfalls. You survived but you are SOAKED. A Definate 10 Ride. GET OUT HERE AND RIDE IT.
