I love this ride. I have to admit that as a little kid I was terrified of the trolls in this ride, and I think now thats why I love it so much. I love laughing how stupid I must have looked coming off of that ride crying every time. But back the ride... Its about Norway, and tells about Norways history, legends, geography, and indusrty, in a nice, non-educational way. Its cool how your boat changes direction, and then goes over a waterfall right after you think the boat will go out of the building on the outside waterfall. Its short, but still cool. I would reccomend eating at the Norweigen Buffet resturant after you ride this (Or ride this while you are waiting).
Contrary to what zzzmikey said, I find very often that this ride has a line out the door, which is pretty long considering the they have endless rows of back and forth queue in the building. The ride itself isnt bad, its sorta informative and slightly humorous with the trolls and backwards section, its pretty fun and beats out the other World showcase attrations (Except for the American Adventure). I would skip the movie at the end though. Just keep walking through the doors when they open to the exit. The movie is pretty boring. The ride aint bad though, its worth at least trying once.
In my opinion, this ride is EXTREMELY underrated and misinterpreted. This is most definately NOT a thrill ride, but more of a "Pirates"-esque attraction. I call it the "Pirates" of Epcot. A pleasing experience for the whole family. Usually not a big wait, and the ride length isnt at all dissapointing.
This is a good dark ride, but I was disappointed. I saw the sign that says "you may get wet" and thought it would be an exciting ride. I guess I shouldnt have expected that though. Its the World Showcase, its not about thrills, but about learning.
This was a so-so water ride. It was really cool when you go backwards at one point in the ride. It wasnt too long of an attraction and the line wasnt too bad either.
it is not the best ride in the world but it is good, and compared to rides like its a small world and Snow whites scary adventures, then it is awesome, but some maintenance is in order for it. I like the fact that you go backwards and the fireflies, but i hate having to sit through the movie at the end.

yuck!!
Its very brief, but better than I expected. The ambiance of the north sea in winter was good, the trolls looked good, it moved at a good clip and the parts where you went backwards were fun. Worth a go.
I kinda wished that the boat would have actually gone over the waterfall, then it would have been more fun.
A nice break while at EPCOT visiting the country shows is a must
The best thing in the World Showcase in my opinion. A bit to short, but while it lasts its great! I have a good story to tell about this ride. When our boat was about to go over the waterfall. My sister screamed, "THIS ISNT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!!!" She screamed the whole time we were going backwards! Everyone was laughing at her at it was just soooooo funny

I really enjoyed this ride!
