Rough, but fun since there is almost never a line, and the ride operators are very fun. You have to wait a long time after the ride gets over for the other train to get finished loading, though. Make sure to hang on so you don't get a headache, though! It would be a great roller coaster if they refurbished it so it was smoother, though.
The first drop was too scary when I had a phobia of roller coasters. Now, I'.ve grown out of that phobia and this ride is boring and painful. I feel like I'.m being flogged when I lean back on this ride, I always lean forward to spare some pain.
I always end with this ride It is so awesome to look across the lake/pond and see all the lights of Six Flags!
Really fun old woodie. And, to add to its greatness, Six Flags keeps this up very well. All I noticed problem-wise is the fact that its old...the wheels still run while sitting on the brakes, and the ride operators take forever to get the train out. Not to mention, 10-year old kids are the only people who ride it anymore. Its aged average...the first hill is a little rough...hurt my back on it, and the 2nd hill requires a chain to get up, which is kind-of irritating because you get that chain lag. Its a great oldie though.
Wow this ride is good! I only rode it a couple of times way back in 2001, but its a nice old ride with tons of air and the thing feels like its going to fall apart. Unfortunitely I didnt get a chance to ride the awsome looking Texas Giant, but dont skip this small but good coaster.
This is a real classic. A perfect out and back. It is beautiful next to the lake. It wont blow you away with speed or airtime, but it has its fair share. This was my first coaster. It will always have a special place for me.
Not a whole lot of airtime on this. I rode it at a great time and it has a great setting but the ride just didnt perform all that well.
I was expecting more. Looking at this thing, it looks like youd get great airtime on those hills, but I just didnt -- even with my lap resraints way looser than they should be safely...
One cool thing I saw in this ride, was a rabbit. He was eating something on the ground, in the middle of the coaster.
The first woodie at the first Six Flags is a nice out-and-back. It gives you some air time and the views are nice. I think this is a great ride for starters and usually has incredible short line in the morning.
An amazing wood coaster. I found it to be pretty smooth and a very good ride. great air-time. short in time yes, but big in fun. haha. I would ride this first, because after riding hypercoaster Titan and freefalling Superman it takes away from it, the drops dont seem as thrilling. great coaster all around so i give it a 10!
