This one was a great coaster in its day. Typical Six Flags job of almost themeing a ride. Very smooth and a lot of fun at night. I havent ridden the JRS in several years, but I thought the time they mounted the trains on the track to take you through the ride facing backwards was a lot of fun.
This ride has the perfect roughness for an out and back. The ride has some nice, gentle drops with some airtime thrown in for fun... just watch out for those headchoppers.
this is one of my favorite rides in Texas! I love this woodie! it is such a classic. I love how on one side theres a very natural look, the lake. nice view. and then on the other side, its a highway. and you can wave at people and stuff who are going to work while you get to ride roller coasters. lol... I love you JRS! i give it a 10!
A nice out and back safe for the whole family. Further proof that Bill Cobb belongs in the Pantheon of Woodie Greats occupied by Miller, Schmeck, and Allen.
I liked the JRS because it had a lot of hills. And because it was smooth, unlike other wooden coasters.
Great woodie. A true classic, very photogenic ride, smooth, great airtime. This ride has it all!
A very nice ride beside the entry lake. Not thrilling just a load of fun. My hands were up the whole time! Also the airtime was abundant and the headchoppers scared me to death! Worth a good number of rides!
This ride may be small, but its tons of fun!!!
A little too small and slow for my liking, but I liked the airtime, and I love out and back coasters.
good ride but texas giant is way better
