Very rough for a relatively new roller coaster. I got absolutely no thrill out of this coaster. The track is very loud, I banged my head some, and it was a kinda short ride. The only good thing is the theming. Oh, and you have to walk more to do the flash pass than to get into the regular line. The flash pass actually takes you around the whole station and then through a back entrance to the station that was probably supposed to be an emergency exit. Greeeat.
The first drop and the horizontal twists are the best parts. The rest of it is just fun because it can be disorienting sometimes.
This is a great inverted coaster.I loved it.It goes faster if you sit in the front. The track is weirdly shaped though.
My favorite part about this ride (well its not really about the ride) is the theming. Its awesome!! But the ride is cool too.
This ride has aged horribly! Its actually rough for a B&M. Its fun and actually seems faster than it did. Not to mention I love the Inverted Seats. The theming is cool, but is not made for Texas heat...the tube at the beginning is a heat magnet; and Six Flags is too cheap to repair the A/C. The line is horrible 24/7 as well...fun ride, though.
the ride is smooth but the thrill factor is not there. since they made it a different color than all the other clones, they should have changed something thrill wise to. i usually ride in the back to get some kind of feeling. its something to ride when the other lines are long. the wait time is usually not to bad.
Loved the coaster, and loved the theming as well.
I rode this so long ago I really am not all that qualified to review it. Back in early 2001 it was my first invert and I was scared to death of it. I took a seat that wasnt the front and I enjoyed the ride. It was intense, smooth, and powerful. Thats all I remember. It was my favorite steel coaster at SFOT, but unfortunitely I was a bit of a chicken back then, and if I would have gone a couple of months later, I wouldnt have been!
"Batman The Ride" is in a nutshell the reason why I dont like Six Flags parks very much. Dont get me wrong, I dont see there being anything wrong with a company being able to grow so big but I think they have lost sight of the goal. Six Flags has de-personalized theme parks. Batman, in short represents that. There are tons of these things. The same ride, drops, inversions, speed, everything is the same. So this has a different color? Big deal. It is the same ride. If a person was blindfolded and rode a Batman, you wouldnt know the difference. Batman has no personality. It is just too common. I cant believe that Six Flags wont build at least a few custom inverts. Especially at their founding park. I realize that buying the same ride probably saves money, but it kills the experience. You dont travel all over the place to ride the same rides, you want something unique. I wish Six Flags saw it that way.
its an ok ride nothing special but it is still fun if you sit in the very front seat other wise you can see what is coming, but it is still awsome!!!!!!!!
