CP & LE Railroad is a train ride. It is average speed, it is fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration. It is a good family ride and it gives good views of the park.
CP & LE Railroad is one of the best train rides I have ridden to date. For starters, the authentic steam-powered locomotives look amazing, and they are one of very few train rides to use actual coal-fired steam engines. These things are truly and wonderfully antique, and the park keeps them in fine shape. The ride itself is tranquil and relaxing, and it follows a beautiful course from the Main Midway to Frontier Town and back, thus making it an ideal method of transportation in this massive park. Riders are treated to some nice views of some of the coasters, along with a great little themed portion dubbed "Boneville", which is nicely done and rather funny. This all adds up to an outstanding train ride that is plenty long, plenty relaxing, and most importantly plenty fun! This train is one of the best, and it offers an excellent family ride that all can enjoy.....all aboard!
I gave this a 10 because it had outdoor darkride elements unlike no other train Ive ever seen. The skeletons were very lolish, and its nice to take a break from the bigger coasters on this one. It almost reminds me of... *sniff* THE GOLD RUSHER! HOW COULD YOU, KENNYWOOD!
Nice train ride. Gives good views of the coasters and it has some funny scenes in it.
The long ride features an authentic steam train that goes past a 1960s vintage "Western Ghost Town" attraction. Cheesy and dated, but still fun.
What a genuinely nice, slow - paced attraction for simple relaxation. After several thrill rides and lots of pizza, this nostalgic train ride hits the spot. Also, you gotta love the RR Crossings! Dancing at the crossings is fun too. Breakouts!

This is basically a transportation and nothing else. Boneville is okay to watch but not that exciting. The best part is having great views of Millennium Force and Mantis.
Probably the best amusement park railroad in the country. The sights are good and the track over the water going through the woods makes it even better.
While the first half of the train ride [MF station to MS station] is pretty basic and leaves something to be desired, its still an easy way to get around the park. The second half, however, is where the fun comes in. The trip through the forest is really good and quite amusing, and the train itself presents a leisurely way to get around the park, avoiding the long walk between the back of the park and Millenium Forces area.
This may not be the most thrilling, but it is a pleasant ride, with neat views of the park that you cant see otherwise. Boneville is awesome!
