Terrible. Incredibly ugly cars, a ridiculously short cycle, almost total lack of power on the cars, the obnoxious island and one-way restriction which is unfortunately becoming more and more common, and very long loading times make this a ride you should not waste your time on.
I found these to be slightly below average bumper cars. There always seemed to be a backup in the corner of the arena and I had to really finagle my way around it to pick up any sort of speed. I also thought the ride op's were treacherously slow cycling people through.
This one is better maybe a 9 during october but other then that ist just a 7
Very lame bumper cars. They are ugly but ensure to thrill young ones and parents riding with their young children.
Average set of bumper cars. The cars looked downright ugly, but they were pretty powerful and I got some really strong collisions off during my ride. However, they were very slow and there was tons of traffic during my ride that really ruined my fun. The ride was only average in length as well.
Now I have to disagree with many peoples disappointment with Lake Compounces Bumper Cars and say that I actually really enjoyed them. Located towards the back of the park, the Bumper Cars are located in a decent sized arena. Lake Compounces bumper car arena has a center divider and I am one of the few people who actually prefer them. The cars are modern and are rainbow colored. While watching the cars while waiting for your ride they seem very slow and there seems to be just a few gentle collisions. But, you cant judge a book by its cover and thats the case with these Bumper Cars. Generally a 20-25 minute wait, the Bumper Cars have a decent amount of cars. The one operator works hard to load the ride very quickly. Restrained by two shoulder straps, the Bumper Cars were just as slow as they had appeared. However, they hit quite hard despite their slow speed. I got some powerful collsions in the decent sized arena. The cars were very easy to steer and handle, which always is a plus. The cycle was decent (about 2 1/2 minutes) and I had a very good time. Overall, the Bumper Cars were an excellent set of Bumper Cars that shouldnt be missed by bumper car fans.
Very weak bumpercars, at least to me. First off, I couldnt help but think they were the ugliest contraptions ever, sort of like they were strait out of the early 90s rainbow-colored surfer style, which to me is not very bumpercar-esque. The ride was run fairly slow, and the hits just dont compare to other sets. The arena was probably a bit too small for the amount of cars, and for half of my ride, everyone was caught in between the divider and the back side because no one knew how to steer the darn things

Though that didnt help my chances of having a good ride, the fact that the ride ops did nothing and let half of our ride go down the tubes and just sat and watched as the multi-car pileup just grew and didnt unwind was rediculous, they could have helped the poor kids. For that, Ill give a 3 instead of a 4 or 5. Perhaps they should bring back those Lusses that are now merely storage bins in the one gift shop

Very average ride. Its too slow and you can only drive the cars in one direction, so theres no head-on collisions. It gains a point because during the Haunted Graveyard they fill the building with fog so you cant see where youre going.
One direction cars at a moderate speed. I was sad that the ride operator did not make it into the "spectator sport" but thats alright. I had fun and coached some kids on the intricate details of operating a bumper car.
A small below average dodgem with unattractive cars. At least the lights on the cars worked. Also, there are too many cars so they get logjammed too often.
