The special effects used to be better but they have toned it down quite a bit over the years. It is still better than a run-of-the-mill splash boat ride. So it gets a bump for that. Other than that it is above average.

This is a decent splash boats ride, though it dosent compare to Journey to Atlantis or Jurrasic Park in Florida. This one has less elements and its just shorter in general.

I rode this ride on a day when the fire effects were not working, so I gave it a 6. It would be a lot better if they would have the flames on all the time.

This is a really cool ride. Half dark ride, half log flume, its a nice ride through falling debris and RED HOT FLAMES, before crashing through to the outside and plummeting down a waterfall. Excellent.

i love water rides but im not sure this is on my top 10.this hill was just a little baby drop.nothing like jurrasic park at islands of adventure that drop is 85 feet.this felt like a 5 foot drop

WOW! this ride was GREAT! this was my first water coaster, and it was EXELLENT. it was raining the day we went tho, and i didnt get wet on the ride. but if it was a hot day i would have been dissapointed. the part where you go through pompeii even scared me and my friend, because we werent exepting things to "fall" on our head. if you go there, ride this coaster first!

This is just such a beautiful ride, especially when compared to what you get from all the rides out there that have the same layout. Even though you will get wet on the drop I wouldnt ride this during the hottest part of the day as the heat is too intense inside (which is why I dont give it a 10). From my own experience and what I witnessed you dont seem to get as drenched in the middle of the boat.

Well, the theming is very noticeable as with any ride at BG Williamsburg. The flames have been reduced each year it seems but still pretty exciting. Even if you dont ride it, chill out in the splash zone! Thats always a blast! It is a water ride and you do get very wet so it does its job...I guess a nine should do...

A ride thats riddled with themeing. The effects a cool, or hot, whatever. I LOVE THE FIRE!! Alot of detail went into making this ride... and I mean ALOT of detail! And what better way to end the ride but with a refreshing drop and splash? Yet another ride I had the priviledge to operate. Good times... Good times.
