this is a great ride + this park knows how to take care of their coasters

10, its a ten, is it better than Raptor at CP, I dont know, but thatd just a ten too :-)
195 foot drop on an inverted, great theming, powerful ride. This is what an inverted coaster should be. My thanks to BGW for not only having the brains to let B&M build them them one of the best rides on the planet, but also for taking the time to theme it so well.

THIS RIDE ROCKS! It was the first coaster I every rode. Better than Volcano.

This is a crazy coaster. The zero G roll is the best part.

I think that Alpengeist is a little too rough. The inversions are too narrow, causing a jerking. It is a great coaster, but not better that Raptor at Cedar Point.

This is one wild coaster. Even the view at the top of the lift will take your breath away. Swooping low to the ground and surroundings, the visuals in the front seat of this coaster are some of the best I have ever encountered… they “add” several miles per hour to the experience. Visuals aside, the pacing on this one is very good as well. One of B&M’s best.

My top coaster. First WEEK it was open I mustve ridden it 15 times in one day. (different times of course, but the line goes super fast) Since its my fave, heres the laydown:

You get in the queue line for only 15 minutes (20-30 max and 45 if in front line queue). 4 people may sit in one row. (I highly recommend the 1st or 2nd row; otherwise you wont see much of the ride unless youre in the outside seats) You get strapped in, and the floor literally drops beneath your feet. Up the lift hill you go, once at the top you turn a swift right and go down the hill, loop, couple of turns, loop, cobra roll, turn back around the way you came, get picture taken, go back the Log Flume on two corkscrews, pull into the station and youre done!

This became my #1 coaster right after my very first ride (which wasnt in the front either). Starting in the queue like always, it wasnt excellent, but still highly impressive. I only spent about 10 minutes total in it, anyway! Out and up the lift hill, and then off, suddenly were jerked to the right and engage that 170 foot twisting drop. Up into the immelman, the vertical loop, and then down into a tunnel, where some flashes of light let me know that my picture has been taken. Now into my favorite part. We go up into the cobra roll and are then are jerked to the side and then back the way whence we came, and now looking straight down at the water. The brake run provides a short second to catch my breath before Im flung into a zero-g roll and corkscrew while a snowy landscape flies by my feet. The great ride is finalized with a helix before returning into the station. This ride obviously deserves a 10. Bravo!

Without the brakes a 10. They really kill the intensity especially the zero g roll and the ending helix.
