Okay, I could tell very little difference between Lion and Tiger, so the reviews are identical. This is a great coaster… GCI did it again (they havent built many, but they go for quality, not quantity). This is fast and feels out of control, the way a wood coaster should feel. Unlike some of their other creations, this one feels like they have put more drops into it (and I like those over laterals). As a dueling coaster, it sort of misses the mark because you hardly take notice to the other train, but that does not diminish the ride any. It is a bit rough, but then again… its wood… that is they way it should feel. Recommendation: For everyone.
Rough and painful. The trains are too small and very uncomfortable. The track has lots of sections that have had the wood replaced with steel. Worth doing once... barely.
The theming on Gwazi is excellent for a roller coaster. The surprise opening dash to the chain lift is a nice addition. The concept of the trains flying past each other doesnt add much to the ride, but the confusing, twisting heap of track keeps you guessing where youll end up next. I favor the Lion side slightly because of the extra hills and helixes. The only thing wrong with the ride is the loading and unloading, which is slow.
Did I ride this one..Or did I? one side was open I forget which..for my review, check Lion. I posted it there.
A good woodie, but not one of the great ones.
I can never remember which side I liked more, but both sides were fairly close anyhow. Best woodie I have been on. Very smooth and heaps of airtime.
This is probably one of the best wooden rides I have been on good air time.
My First Woodie And I Loved It All The Way...Great Speed...Great Airtime...A Bit Rough...But I Loved It...
Great airtime and fast and furious speed.
Best wooden coaster I have ever been on!
