This is not one of my favorite wooden coasters. It (the Tiger side) was way too rough, even for a wood coaster. The fact that both tracks of Gwazi uses PTC trains doesn't help. Now that GCI, the company that built this, has those Millennium Flyer trains for coasters like this, Busch Gardens Africa need to install those trains. It would probably run smoother. And some re-tracking wouldn't hurt, either!

A generous 6 here. I honestly didnt care too much for this at all. The dueling/racing aspect adds so much to the ride that it annoys me that BGT never seems to synchronize them anymore. I love rough woodies and this had some great speed, but it was just a bunch of vicious banked turns with no airtime. Save yourself a few minutes and ride Montu again.

This is a good wooden coaster. This is like the 4th racing coaster that I have been on that never seems to race. I am always anxious for the interactions with the other train that never seems to come. Not quite as aggressive as most wooden coasters. This has good speed, but very little hangtime if I remember correctly.

I like Tiger alot better than Lion. It was just faster and smoother while Lion had more drops.

This ride never lets up! From the top of the lift to the brakes, this ride has you off your seat, shoved against the comfortable side or simply screaming for more. You cant see very much of it from the paths, as you usually can for most of Buschs coasters, so I wont spoil it for people who have not ridden it.

This coaster makes up for its size in its excitement, it has some great near misses

Great roller coaster, must be experienced in the front seat. Its just rough enough to be thrilling, but they dont overdo it (*cough* SOB) The airtime on some of those hills is fantastic! Best wooden coaster lapbars Ive ever had the pleasure to use.

The Gwazi Tiger differs from the Lion. I thought it seemed a bit faster and wilder, with less straightaways and more twists and helixes, etc. This ride is especially fun at night. Though the dueling effect has stopped becuase or HORRENDOUS waits, the Gwazi Tiger is still a GREAT attraction @ Busch Gardens!!!!!

A great ride! Reaching speeds of 50mph, the Gwazi is a Must-Do Attraction, rivaling even some steel coasters.
