If I was to rate it as a dark ride it would get a 9, but if I rated it as a mine car coaster it would get a 5. It is certainly a great hybrid ride and really tough to give a rating to, but Ill bump it up to an 8 due to its uniqueness. Just ride it and judge for yourself.
Nice indoor roller coaster. The best quality of this ride is the smoothness. No matter where you set, the ride is real smooth. I am impressed at how well maintained the ride is. To be around as long as it has, Dollywood has outdone themselves at keeping this ride maintained.(As they do with their other rides)
Adorable!

Cutest lil coaster-ish thing ever! The scenes reminded me of something outa Disneyland. The drops were suprizingly suprizing!:wow:
This was a weak coaster but a good dark ride. The theming was nice, reminding me a lot of Monster Plantation and SFOG, but the drops were weak. The water splash was unique, but not too drenching, so not too impressive. I know many people love this thing but it still doesnt strike me as "incredible", even when negecting my age and experience. I guess the kids still liked it and its a nice attraction for the whole family, so Ill settle with a 6 in an attempt to be fair.
A fun ride... part dark ride, part coaster (an a little part water ride). Best part was being in the front seat and heading into the collapsing bridge.
this is more of a kiddie ride than a thrill ride the drop are really short i remember the drops being much taller .i was very disapointed in it
An unusual dark ride roller coaster. The trip through the burning town is actually kind of relaxing and pretty rad. The drops are kind of fun and the crews were always excited the day I was there. My one big objection is that gross skank water youre soaked with at the final splashdown.
Excellent, and unusual dark ride and coaster all in one. The drops are well themed with the ride and come very unexpectedly.
This one is a classic! From the setup with the town scene to the fire starting to the woman getting chased by the country boy (on a very old style animatronic setup, I might add) to the little surprises that I wont spoil...Classic and fun.
Blazing Fury is a steel sit down roller coaster. It was built in 1978 and is enclosed with dark ride effects. It is 22' tall, 1,520' long, it travels at speeds of 22 mph. I thought this ride was very fun. An indoor coaster with great theming. I would ride this one many more times if I visited agan. It is rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.
