Am not sure what the other reviewers are referring to here as I got lots of air time. Great ride I recommend trying different cars front and back if you can to find where you enjoy it most... I rode back first then front, and I liked the front better, lots of delicious floater air especially on the big camelback. If you like more intense air try the back of the train. The helix is great, you start going under the supports and they get smaller and smaller around you it's pretty hard to not scrunch into your seat. My second favorite ride here behind patriot.

The Mamba is a steel non looping mega coaster or hyper coaster. It was built by Morgan Manufacturing in 1998. It is 200' tall, 5,600' long, it is fun, rerideable, fast, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

Its good steel rollercoaster but there are taller ones else where. I like it but I may also recommend the wild thing at valley fair (same designer)

The Mamba looks way more scary than it actually is. Very smooth ride for its enormous size. Good speed and airtime. I wouldn't say it really blew me away but it was good.

one of the best coasters in the park! it gets packed on weekends and busy hours, but if you go during a good time you can miss the lines on this coaster. it has great anticipation on the hill lift leading up to the huge drop, and the drop is fantastic! the front seat is always the place to be on this ride. the second hill is good with airtime, and then it goes into a "headchopper" double helix. the brakes after the double helix kill any airtime on the bunny hills, which is a shame, but it has a great rest of the ride. one of the best coasters in the park, and a must se if you are ever at worlds of fun!

Wow, what a ride! There are 4 moments of amazing airtime before the brake run and the helix is one of the best out there. The only thing keeping it from a 10 is the brake run. It kills all the speed and ruins any chance of airtime on what looks to be killer bunny hills. Why would they do that? Why?

This was a fantastic ride! The slow ride up the lift hill built up some anticipation. Then when you reach the top it just hangs you there then drops you 200 feet! Over the second hill you get some floater air. Then my favorite part of the ride, the death helix! You get extremely close to the ground and there are some really good headchoppers from the supports where everyone ducks their arms. After that you turn into the MCBR where it unfortanutely slows the train down. The rest of the ride are bunny hops and a turn into the station. I didnt really experience airtime in this part. Overall I just love this ride! It was my very first and only hyper so thats probably why I like it so much. It might go down a tiny bit after my trip to Six Flags Great America and Cedar Point, but this ride will always be fun.

This is my home park so I am a little bias. I think that this actually is one of the best rides I have been on. Extremely smooth, good height and speed, great helix at the far end, and great air time on the final bunny hops. I have also been on MagnumXL and I believe that Mamba is much better.
