Pretty intense as far as scramblers go, and I was able to get quite a bit of lateral Gs throughout the entire ride. The only bad part was there wasnt enough head support for me, resulting in a bit of neck pain. Im no scrambler enthusiast, but this one is one of the best Ive done.
Its a scrambler like you find everywhere else. It has a new Volcano theme now.The speed is pretty fast and the length of the ride is average. Not a ride that I get sick on.
I was kinda surprised. I actually entered this ride BY ACCIDENT and thought "what the hell, lets do it anyway" and honestly, theres probably more thrills on here than Avalanche and Ricochet. Tosses you around like a rag doll and I kept on bumping into my friend. Pretty cool.
Set right next to the huge Volcano, it has a beautiful setting. It seems to run a little longer than most scramblers and even a little quicker. Although that could just be do to other factors. Nothing else really seperates this ride from others like it.
Good flat, pretty long cylce, and PKD runs it at a pretty decent speed. I definitely like the new location below Volcano and the brand new color scheme

APPEARANCE-9 Best looking scrambler I have seen. New paint and good things around it to look at. RIDE QUALITY-7 Good length of time for the cycle, but it could have been faster. CAPACITY-3 There was almost noone at the park and it was still a 4 minute wait in my car before the ride started. FUN-5 These are not one of my favorite rides so 5 is a good fun rating for me. RERIDE-3 Even though this may be the best scrambler I have been on I probably wouldnt go back. OVERALL-27 AVG 5.4 So I will give it a 5 since most of its points came from appearance.
The Kings Dominion scrambler was just your average scrambler. It was in the middle of both of the two categories I use to rate scramblers, being cycle time and max intensity. The ride is run for a decent length of time, not too long and not too short, and they run it at a mediocre speed, but again, not at either end of the spectrum. All in all, an mediocre installation of one of my favorite flats, so I will just go with a 5.
A standard scrambler, same as everywhere else (except the Mind Scrambler at Playland Park in Rye, New York, they have a full light show and music).
I think even though Scramblers are common rides, that doesnt mean they deserve a mediocre grade. I found this scrambler to be very intense and its turns seemed to be very tight to me. Plus, as the previous poster pointed out, its got a new Volcano theme, so thats good for another point.
Its a Scrambler, you find one everywhere.
What I really like about it is the new Volcano theme!
