They got rid of their old bumper cars in exchange for these things that move about as fast as Obama's positive accomplishments.
The size of the arena is pretty good, and the cars are fairly powerful, although the cycle isn't too long. Enjoyable as any other set of bumper cars; all should enjoy it.
APPEARANCE: Well the arena was really big and all of the cars were very sleek and looked great. The ride isnt very well lighted at night though.
WAIT TIME: Walk On- Unlike at other parks, Palace Playlands bumper cars never have a line. In fact, usually not even half of the cars are used and instead they just sit around the perimeter of the ride.
RIDE: Well, the cars had decent speed, but they handled pretty poorly when compared to other cars. They were very powerful though, but the collisions were not comfortable and really painful thanks to the restraints. The cycle was decent though, but I honestly was hoping for one a tad longer.
FINAL VERDICT: If you like a hard-hitting and powerful set of bumper cars, these definitely are for you. That being said, they just werent as fun as other bumper cars for me in my opinion.
These bumper cars make me nervous, not my favorite restraint system. The seats are also uncomfortable, and its tough for taller drivers to fit comfortably and safely.
These have limited manuevering ability. Impossible to steer. Nothing more than an average (and to tell the truth, mediocre) bumper car ride. The victim of a fire last year, they havent bothered to repair it. All they do is put Caution-Tape around the burned area. If with the hard-to-maneuver cars, you accidentally go into the area, they will make a big stink and throw you out. With no refunds. I wish the fire had burned the whole thing down.
Typical, typical, typical. But since I like the bumper cars, Ill give this a six, since it is no worse than any others Ive gone on.
A completely average bumper car ride.
Nice bumper cars. they are quick but have limeted maneuverability. they are also a bit uncomfortable.
