Skybuckets is a ski lift ride. It is average speed, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration. It gives a good view of the park also.
The only good thing about this ride is you dont have to walk, but the time it takes in line is longer than the time it would take to walk to the other side of the park. I mean, who wants to wait 20 minutes when you could just walk?
The sje at this park isnt fantastic. but it is a good way to relaxe and take in the park and its beuty. Can have a long wait though.
A nice, relaxing way to get from the front of the park to the back of the park. Particularly cool at night when all the parks lights are on. Skyrides are really becoming rare. I applaude SFOG for still having one.
I agree with both of the previous reviews: buckets are very well-kept, but the line is rediculously long and slow usually. Its almost always 30+ mins, but at least you avoid walking uphill a lot if youre coming out of the Lickskillet area. The parks terrain can get horrible, so when heading back to the main gate at the end of a day, this ride can be a valuable device to rest and relaz and not kill yourself on the piedmont terrain.
I thought that the ride was very well mantained(considering its age), was a great way to relax, take arial photos, get from one side of the park to the other, and provides a great view of everything there is to offer at SFOG.
Kind of boring, not much faster than walking for 2 reasons 1) The line is 15 minutes, in which time you could me there already 2) Its a small park and theres no point of a tram ride. Gives an OK view.
