Well, Unnoficially, haha (like the wendy's guy, you can see me handing out Knoebels brochures, maps, and such at your local SF park!) But nah, I was thinking about it, and I should, but I live too far away. And they do have a tagling, its the Wally World tagline lol from NL Vacation, "America's Favorite Family Funpark!", as seen on the banners hanging along the main midway when you enter.

Hey, wait, I love that movie! That is the funniest movie in all of cinema. And I still think my tagline is better.

I LOVE your tagline, Knoebels - that would be a perfect bumper sticker!!! Here's the ultimate question for you all - if you could work at Knoebels doing any job whatsoever, what would you do? As for me, I'd have to say working in the band organ shop - I'd really, really love to learn more about how those things run.

I would probably work as a ride op for Twister or Phoenix, or work in any store, maybe that hat one by Flume or the Twister Souvenir Shop.

The coaster ops at Knoebels always seem to be having a good time - just look at Ron, at the High Speed Thrill Coaster - now, there's a man who loves his work!

How do you get to know there names!?! Anyways, operating the flume must be pretty cool, all the way up there and all. Though, I wouldn't like to be up there in bad weather.

I only know Ron's name because he's such a character - a really, really cool dude. I made a point of looking at his name tag - I wanted to thank him on a first-name basis after the ride. Awesome guy.

Cool. When does he work there? Because when I went, there was this older guy and he didn't really seem to be really enthused about it.

All I can say is that the times I saw him, it was just around closing time. He's kind of skinny, and has white hair (I think). He wears black gloves - if you see him, you'll know. His total zest for life is very contagious.

Is he old, young, or middle-age? He sounds like a really cool ride op. Actually, I got into a conversation with a Phoenix ride op on Dick Knoebels' "saving" skills for roller coasters. We got so into it, he had to remind me to board the ride!

Actually, I thought that would be kinda boring, since whenever I get to that point, I see them reading a book or talking to a fellow ride op down in the lower station. It seems kinda boring (as I said before) but hey, whatever trips your trigger.

Hey- as I posted in another thread, I am really dying to go to Knoebels, and was thinking of possibly adding it to my 04' parks to visit. I know the first thing my parents would ask is how far away it is from us; that's a huge factor. So- anyone have a general idea of how far from the Ohio-PA border Knoebels is? Is it in central, western, or eastern PA? Thanks!

Mostly Eastern PA. It's located by Easton, in this litle town called Elysburg. I'd say it's a good hundred-two hundred miles from the Ohio border. Yeah, it sounds long, and that's 'cause from Ohio, it is long.

Actually, I was kidding. Do you know how when someone does something cool they go"Go me, it's my b-day, go me, it's my b-day." Well, that's what I was doing cause I was close on the mileage.
